As i read this,i checked my recent 2 summaries....normal non-weekend is 475k per night for deluxe room,weekend there is a surcharge of 50k/night. I think that chap from Batam center is pocketing the extras he charge you. Ramadan effect at work? Walk-in also not that highly priced in Formosa.

Hmm....will comment more on your other parts of your FR in another day while i do some research.

Men are only allow to take the back seat and be locked in like a car-jail with payment thru a small window-like metal bar from the back seat. Back seat car doors are usually locked until payments are done. When i was with my gf in Guangzhou,my girl has to take the front seat while my other male friend and me has to take the back seat.

Men are only allow to take the back seat and be locked in like a car-jail with payment thru a small window-like metal bar from the back seat. Back seat car doors are usually locked until payments are done. When i was with my gf in Guangzhou,my girl has to take the front seat while my other male friend and me has to take the back seat.

I think that should be it.
It was a full ferry on Sindo and it was the last weekend of the school hols.
So, I was thinking hard to book, thus the price increase.
Quite sad, always thought Kaha was good. Think wont support them liao.
Most likely that chap "eat" money and he collected the money in SGD.
Stupid me, should have just done walk in.

I don't know but I was told to sit at the front seat everytime even though I want to sit at the back.
I did ask the driver, he told me he scared I run away if I sit at the back.

always go batam solo, short trip, order lamoist from watsapp, than ferry to haborbay book next ferry than go nagoya collect than ferry back to sg.
today cab fare, haborbay to fomosa 40k, than 30k to dc,40 to nagoya and 30 to fomosa. all my cab ride always seat behind. but once i nego price, get in liao i pay them immediately.
just come back from walk along lucky plaza. saw 2 massage center, the one at the end, board write wat family massage. and the one opposite fomosa cannot see. dunno the 2 clean boh

I have never book from Batam Center Kaha before. I book mainly from Kaha Travel opposite Harmoni Hotel. Or maybe Kaha at Batam Center has different set of pricing? Not too sure,but i will find out next month,hehehe...one point you may be right,its peak season plus school holiday,i guess.Maybe i think you may look like noob (but you definitely not) in Batam,hehehe... I drop myself off at Harbour Bay so its closer for me to book from Kaha Travel at opposite Harmoni hotel. You drop off at Batam Center,so naturally Kaha at Batam Center is your right choice.

Bro, u could be right but just for your infor. Kaha in batam center and the one u alway go is a bit different.

Batam center kaha is just a small booth. All is harsh harsh and go. The kaha u alway go are more organise and also is a shop. So i suspect one could be francishe

i think it is ok...have to pay some "school fees" to learn from mistakes, ya?
batam centre is a popular choice for sinkies...haha.
maybe the kaha there got a pricier list.

Opposite Formosa is Linda Massage and Relax Massage. Both can go to your room to massage. I hope you will bargain for the special service tho,otherwise will be chop carrot like in Kings. You can go about last minute makan n shopping in light mode while waiting for your ferry home. You will need your passport to store n collect your luggage.
No charges.



To walk from Formosa to Keyzha (near DC mall)

Once out from Formosa front entrance, turn LEFT....you will see Center Point Mall. Got a missing T.

I have yet to have a "good look" at An Shun Travel at Penuin. Becos last trip and the previous one before was a group trip,very little time for myself to do what i originally want to do...i will try to have some spare time on next July trip to look deeper at An Shun but it looks like its going to be another group trip on July...haiz...will think of something then.

An Shun also sells hotel vouchers but is it lower than Kaha's price? I dont like to be held by the neck by Kaha all the time,hehehe...and i am starting to prepare for my CNY 2016 trip too. Hmm.....i have to be kiasu when it comes to CNY.

Walk along the road. Until you see a red color SIMPATI building.
Look left and there is this building...it is Nagoya City Walk.
There is a big amusement park inside.
Traffic is heavy here...cross over to the building.



To escape the heat, you can walk into this building, exit the building from the other side. Walk along this road, keep to the right.



Reach the end, turn right. Can see the BIZ hotel behind. Almost there.

Diagonally opposite...walk further down....is Hotel Utama.



Go around the end of Hotel Utama...turn right.....is DC Mall.

My style as well, i do this to prevent them for asking extra !

Actually by doing this can lead them to interpret 2 meaning:

1) You trusted them and pay even though havan reached your destination. (Some driver actually felt happy)

2) They will think that you had already prepared the small change for them. Hence, you do not have extra to give them.

Anyway i always carry a piece of 100k rupiah note nowadays, learning their style by replying no small change will mostly solve the problem if they tries to ask more on top of the agreed price.
