Permata Indah is very easily to spot from windsor foodcourt. There are ONLY few stretches of shop houses there, and with neon signboard at nite...

[b] Please do not take illegal taxi or so call "Black Plate" taxi (Taxi Plat Hitam) AND taxi with other person inside. Reason being, you don't want your bonking trip become a disaster trip, isn't it? Don't because want to save couple of dollars and take the risk. Legal taxi is very easy to spot, either hotel's taxi or taxi with decent setup, colour, taxi plate, company logo and signboard on top. Also, most bros will travel from 1 place to another location which they do not know the way, therefore it is still better to get legal taxi rather get yourselves into troubles. Also, if taxi with other passengers inside, better don't take. Sharing taxi in Batam ONLY for locals and some oldbirds. Greenhorns like me, better not. Most taxi is OK with Rp15K if direct from point A to point B within nagoya. jodoh and peniun area. U bargain can get Rp10K. Those ask for Rp20K and above can tell them no thank you, ask the next taxi that follow, most likely before you walk away the driver will ask you get in.

For those taxi with other passenger most likely going a longer distance, and they paying lower "per head" rate, so the driver will pick up more passenger along the way, making your travel time LONGER.

Going for a day trip to batam with nos of colleagues, juz going there to relax , no bonking no hotel. Only there for massages and seafood.

Need recommendation for
1)clean joint for massage
2)nice seafood.

Yes, bro Ah Hia, u r right. It’s near to Grand Majestic and 5 mins walk from Hotel Harmoni. When I told Hawaii KTV’s mummy n the gal I booked that I stay in Hotel Travel Batam. They r not sure. So I have to mentioned Hotel Pelangi. Even the taxi driver is also not sure, I have to say that formerly it is called Hotel Pelangi.

Try these places for clean massage. Hotel 89, Sawadeeka, sports massage. Seafood? Golden prawn, Batu Besar, pungol. Batu and punggul is abit far away, but the sea food is good and cheap.

What else other than KTV and shopping? Batam? you can transit here to other parts of indonesia via local lines, cheaper fare...

Business opportunity is plenty, if you have contacts.
