My strategy before

Have one drink in lucky platinum, if no go, try the ktv.. if no go walk to blowfish before Thai embassy.. if still no go land in orchard tower

never buy more than a mug of beer because you can scoot out if scene bad

Buy jug or bottle anchor you

and different Sunday can have different selection in bars ... as time of day also

start by 3 pm .. it cannot hold drink sip coke till a promising one is found ..

drink like fish means you are not good in targeting

my 2 cents ... semi retired ... I started during old Strums in lucky ...
