Going to tokyo in feb and was reading all the juicy stuff on soaplands..

Just a little concerned about it being not foreigner friendly...

Anyone tried the soaplands in Yoshiwara???

any updated recommendations?

i got no japanese speaking friends i can ask for help there.. lol

Been to Yoshiwara soapland once, it is near to Asakusa station. There are many shop along the street. Some of the shop refuse admittance to foreigner but some allow. I try walk in to one of the joint, upon entering they will bring you to a room and a attendant will show you an album of photo for girls available to foreigner.

The attendant english is poor so communication is difficult, he try use all the hand signal to describe to us what the girls are good at. The selection of girls available to foreigner are very limited and not very young so in the end left the place without trying.

I hear that most local will call and make booking on the girls they like before going but without knowing japanese language would be dfficult.

Yup you are right. I went to a lounge in Kabukicho at Shinjuku to pick up a japanese girl. Again some lounge refuse foreigner to enter.

I went to yoshiwara before and tried to use 3 shops.
But all shop refused me because I can't speak Japanese and understand their rules. To use them, we have to study conversational Japanese or they have to study English lol
Some deriheru shops hold English speaker staff and help to use their shops. I used escort erotic massage club in Kyoto. I'll study Japanese more and try soapland again.

I was also interested in soapland too.. went there, try to search information in 3-4 shops but they don't speak english.. in the end, I couldn't find a place for gaijin friendly.
very disappointed...

my advice, ask someone who could speak japanese to go with you...

I was in Tokyo Jan 2012 & did experience the soapland at Yoshiwara. The place is called Land Mark (http://www.l-mark.com/companion.html)

took the subway to Minowa station and walked to the place on a weekday afternoon.

there was a bouncer outside, you just have to walk right up to him and say Gaijin ok? they are usually friendly and will lead you into the lobby.

there are usually only a few girls that will serve foreigners so the picture book you see will not be like the ones on website. I was only given 3 choices and I chose her (http://www.l-mark.com/profile.html?id=183)

the only disadvantage is the language barrier... its like chicken & duck talk.

I got 2 shots... one on the slippery mattress while doing the nuru massage

i paid Y75,000 yen, which include the gaijin fee.

just went yoshiwara yesterday nite.

i visited the temple senso-ji at asakusa station.

so used wifi to locate yoshiwara - soapland.

I found that Yoshiware is a bit too expensive. For a short train ride you can go to Yokohama and spend around 15-33k yen for about the same quality, depend on how long do you want it. I tried Yoshiwara a while back and the cheapest I found was 60k, some are 90k. Anything under 60k most likely you will get lady over 30 years in Yoshiwara.

I speak very limited Japanese but they don't have issue with that and yes, your girl selection may be limited since not all will do foreigners.

There are 2 soaplands in Yokohama that I visited, I think the owner are the same. For price, check under "system" and direction under "access". With help of Google map, it is not hard to find.

Actually i just came back from japan 2 weeks ago. Went to yoshiwara 2 times. You can actually alight at Minowa station which is more closer.

Advise to go during weekday and in the afternoon. I don't speak Japanese at all but seem like most of the shop welcome me. I told them i from singapore and they dun mind at all. Most of the shop quote 35000-40000 yen for 90-120 mins. I know there are other high end club like landmark and satin doll which cost 60000-75000yen

Previously when i was there, i tried Prima donna as they have free chauffeur service and having promotion for about 35000 yen for 120 mins. There is quite a selection and gals are quite alright. Next time i go again i will try again and of coz other shop too.
