And paying the marked up price will eventually leads to future higher marked up price becos they know Sillyporean can pay,everything in Sillypore term is cheap,no Sillyporean is a poor man in Batam. Just go online to check on other netizen's tour report when they visit Batam (clean ones),almost everything in Batam in their opinion are considered "damn cheap",as the word Damn Cheap was very commonly used.

As what some China Tour Guide in China has mentioned before on some news article,Sillyporean tourist are often silly enough to believe everything that was told,and Sillyporean are the MOST easiest to con (according to the China Tour Guide) tourists in most China tour group as compare to other countries's tourists. And what this "tour guide" says do not just apply to those sillypore "Auntie" tourist,it also applies to the "Uncle"...hehehe...

In the case of Batam,are Sillyporean really super silly,super rich,super stupid,super shy or super unbrave to venture around? Then again,I believe it is none of it. I see it as a lack of confident and their big pride preventing them from paying the "Normal" price. I often hear this from my more elderly real life friends who visit Batam, "Come on,whats 10k-20k rupiah..only S$1.10-S$2.20..not worth the 1 min of my time when i am in Batam spending million rupiah on girls", believe me,this category of tourist (or my friends) will not even bargain if the amount is in million rupiah for girls,hehehe...it again boils down to lacking of confident and yet a little over prideful to admit this fact. So,they put their chest up and pay the price proudly lor...

I believe i did mentioned this sometime ago,an Indo local,an Ang moh and a Sillyporean drop off from the same ferry together. Ang Moh approach taxi driver A,he was quoted 80k. The Sillyporean approached the same driver A,he was quoted 50k. And when the local Indo approached the same taxi driver A again,he was quoted ONLY 35k which he later got on the taxi for 30k (after bargaining) to reach his destination.
