I checked them out around half year ago. Different agencies quote different rates, ranging from 6K to 9.5K But all do the same simple job, u pay u take the gal and they only arrange for ROM for you. Nothing else. Good profit leh. What i offered last time was with dinner and wedding photo package, so actually mine's much cheaper

End 2002 when i met my wife, i wanted to ask her to learn english. So got an old vietnamese man who gives english tuition for 400K VND a month. She came to my wife's house and when i talked to him, his english is really half cooked. I gave him my business card and the next day when he was supposed to come start the first lesson, he didn't come. He basically disappeared. There are quite a number of english schools in HCM. they learn as a group. Monthly fees range from around 300K VND to more than 1 million VND a month.

I know u r offering at a cheaper rate, variety of gals not much leh.
My friend went HCM to choose a wife, ended up abt 200 gals 4 him to choose.

He was so stress that he told the agency to reduce the number of gals to just 10 gals, ended up his mum choose for him. now happily married for 4yrs.

Bro, she will need to study 3~6 mth in order to see some results. For that, she will need a student pass & a language school. You may want to flip the straits times classified ad. to see what are the choices. After the formal classes, you may opt to hire an additional pte tutor to help her catch up.

I am currently applying english course for my gf as well. Still in progress..

Need to prepare the following for the application of student pass
1. 4 passport size photo
2. Photocopy of passport
3. Birth cert. (Translated & certifed)
4. Highest qualifications/ transcript (translated & certified)
5. Documentary proof of financial ability, if she is from a visa-required country
6. Photocopy of Sponor IC

Budget given to me from Lingo Language School for 3 mth is S$1665.

Their syllabus is dunno from oxford or cambridge.. seems quite ok..
I went down to their office once in raffles place & it is bustling with activities until 9pm.

I not professional match maker, so not offering too many gals. But all the gals i offer are those i know persoanlly, so more guaranttee lor. But its ok la. I don't depend on match making for income

I do agree that sometimes its very difficult to choose when there's many many (con gai nhieu nhieu)

Thanks Bro GLHhunter for the info. My brother is an student agent in VN, and i can get it done easily if i want.

I am not thinking of letting my gf come here to study. I want her to prepare herself in VN. 2008 study till 2009 than come sillypore.

Actually Q8 in HCM is not really that terrible la. Its surrounded by Q7, Q5 and Binh Chanh. Its quite accessible. The only thing is that there's lots of coffee joints and bars in Q8. My former residence in HCM is very near to Q8, just a small bridge away. Sometimes i also go for coffee at a small cafe in Q8 that is owned by a local sexy chick that speaks good english

I thought you said, you own a 3-storey villa(12X20) facing Saigon River(actually it's Song Rach Ong Lon) in Trung Son, Binh Chanh(connected to D8 by a small bridge). There are 2 Lau De(formerly only one) just before the small bridge.

D8 is not GL of HCMC. Most of the out-of-town WLs live in D8(working class area) and work in bia om/massage/etc. in D1,D3,D5,D10, etc...You can see
them riding Honda@,SH,Attila, etc. to work via Cau Chu Y(Y-shaped bridge) starting from 5pm. Now through Cau Tam(temporary bridge) at Tran Thuan Khai; passing T O K Y O Hotel, as Cau Chu Y is partially demolished for reconstruction.

good ending..blessed him. Very hard to reach this kind of ending..each one of us have our own problem. Incl me...never the ending...

I thk my friend also hv its own problem too. his problem is he belong to the low income group. nevertheless he can solve his problem.

Maybe qualified them better:

- solvable problems : easier, just solve it step by step
- un-solvable type : ageing/health matters, $ problem, constant demand...etc

Type 2 are the one that lingers around, hounding a person for days/months/weeks/years. These are without proper solution, only short-term resolution or the solution just prolongs the problem..
