yo bro, apologies for the delay in answering your qns. i normally don't access SB during weekends when i am at home, for obvious reasons. anyway, for HS, you dont have to tell the recep. you just go there, get in, and they will put you to a room (most of the time with other ppl), all waiting to go to specific rooms for their happiness. HS operates differently from other saunas in that, you wear your own clothes while waiting to go to the happiness room. once in there, then you wash up, all done up in a room...UNLESS...

yes, shanghai prices are high, compared even to spore. i think any party scene needs some skills right? whether you end up paying money or nor, as long as you are happy doing what you are doing, then it's fine. everyone got their own style...don't have to worry too much on this aspect.
