Face Bar is indeed one of the hottest clubs in Shenzhen. It's just located off Chun Feng Road, 春风路.

Face Bar is actually within walking distance to the Xiang Xi Chun 向西村, and that's where BetterOle 毕打噢 is, and also the Queens Spa & Dining.

Nearby there is another massage palour (no sex), xia wei yi, 下威仪,Hawaii, i think I got the chinese name wrong, anyways, quite a okay place for relaxation & standard massage.

In Xiang Xi Chun, 向西村，there are also alot of BBS in the back alleys.

More about Face Bar, that place is usually packed on Friday Night & Saturday Nights, sometimes, it would be busy on normal weekdays too. I've only been there 2 to 3 times, and I found out that this place can be a pick up joint...

Anyways, I heard that YES bar in Shenzhen is famous for Pick Ups, even the locals talk about it.

As the place FACE bar you went is classified as a expensive place for most people in Shenzhen, you'll find mostly yuppies and matured ladies there... not many young chaps there.

wellllll...... I did have a very good 4hrs in Carnival health spa during the trip.....wow UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! 5 storeys of entertainment for the whole family. No hanky panky but I had a really good time there.

This is my 2nd time in Carnival and I swore that I had to return after my first time last year.

Totally relaxing, super service and very quick even when the place was packed. We left at 2.30am back to hotel room for bonking after checking out the overnight sleeping quarters. They let u sleep there until morning for free.

Its a quiet area all dark and little space-age type cubicles that only one person can slip into....... very much like those Japanese coffin-hotels.

Now the hotel I was staying at was the Oriental Pearl Dong Fang Zhi Zu and it was very near alot of major shopping.

Forgot to pack along my business pants (how stupid of me) so went and bought a high quality one for 150rmb (got 30rmb business pants but dont dare to wear!!!)

Was VERY tempted to buy some of their cheap business suits as well from 80rmb (YES!!!! less than S$20 for jacket and pants) but again no balls to risk my self-respect. The most expensive LOCALLY MADE suit combo I saw in one shopping center was 1200rmb (still an extremely good price for a good material) but unfortunately dont have my size....... sob.

Picked up a 512mb MP3 player (local brand) for 200rmb for my nephew...... wow must say that China made MP3 players come in ALOT of funky shapes and colors and the construction and sound quality quite good too (they had soft ware to transfer some songs from my own Creative MP3 player over to the one I wanted to buy to allow me to test quality.....very good.

Picked up some super cheap ink cartridges for my 5-color printer (at home a set of inks cost S$70 ..... the exact same one in the computer shop cost me S$16 equivalent) tested it last night and it works! Shitz, should have bought a few more to keep the printer running for the rest of the year

Had a hairwash and cut for 30rmb in a pretty hip and posh salon (that was the only BBS I went to in Shenzhen!)

Basically, that's the places that I know.

4. Pacific Sauna, at Pacific Building 太平洋大厦, along the road of Jia Bin Road 嘉宾路 (very well known landmark, almost all taxi drivers know that location)

Prices at RMB 158 per entry with 2 hours of quality massage

[At this building, this is where U Bar is, where alot of good memories were made there- > 3 rd floor]

[At 4th Floor, there is a snookerium, with a pub, Prices at RMB 42 per hour, the tables are excellent quality, I've heard that there is an Asian Competition on mid of May at that place, and Maybe Ding Jun Hui may come on June 2005 to that place for a demo match]

But if you been to one massage place, the rest would have more or less the same facilities, and the variation would be almost the same. In fact, most saunas in Shenzhen, even the ones with sex, allows you to stay overnight.

So, for those people who are travelling light, they can actually, check in to any Sauna places as hotels (minimum book 3 hours of massage)

If you compare the pricing, for a normal hotel, the rates are about RMB 138 to RMB 168 for room only.

But if you go to a Massage Palour, it's RMB 250 with overnight stay & plus massage. Isn't that fucking worth it?

Almost all Sauna in ZH offer "full" service with more choices and better facilities than SZ, the good class KTV and the gals are priced more reasonable in ZH, Lian Hua lu offer some very interesting picks etc... Especially the sauna (the sexy ones) ....ZH's beat SZ anytime... There're located in good class hotel and not dedicated places like Xiao Sha or Sha Tsui...

You can often hear people going fm SZ to ZH to chiong but never the other way round....Hee...hee...
