Many so-called "big fishes" hv severe emotional hang-ups including insecurity, inferiority complex n prior traumatic experiences, etc. and need to salve their fragile n damaged egos by throwing money around. They are crying out to the world for attention. Look here! I'm worth more than u! But they can heal themselves only from within by meditation, mental training, etc. Getting a Rolls n the prettiest SYT as er nai will be of little help, unfortunately. They will remain as frustrated n miserable as before, IMHO.

Sometimes quite pity these HFJ gers. They have quota to meet every month. So they have to solicit a group of supporters to ensure their livelihood with the joint. Also, no sick leaves no urgent leaves, worse than taxi drivers....

pity would be an overstatement, these girls actually earns much more than average Singaporean pay, i know of a girlfriend previously working as a girl, her daily takehome is min. $150~200/day back then no hangflower somemore, only purely drinks nia and she's singaporean.

if for foreigners working here, after 2~3yrs they go back can live comfortably, buy nice house open business become Towkay while we still go on our lives coping our high standard of living and continue to help "support" new girls tat come work in HFJ...haaa

no sick leave? cmon, its the girls lust for money to work everyday and their excuse in pityful front to you so that u can support her even more...$200~300/day, i would also work everyday la, then once a while go out relax with a boy they like but they will tell you they fall sick haha

Was informed by staff/operator at 3 different HFJs that new KTV or HFJ will be opening above Dynasty Classic at Peace Centre.

Some say two. One of them expected to be a HFJ. Since few industry players say, it may be true. May be expensive. Wait and see.

That general area already has many HFJs including those in Parklane, few along nearby Middle Road, those in hotel along Bencoolen Street and Cleopatra nearby in Prinsep Link. Competition heats up but they may be in different budget ranges. Will this area become a new cluster for night club, HFJ, KTV. One thing though, the operators don't have to deal with Orchard-Road-type super high rentals that in turn drive up prices for consumers.

saw one in third storey just above dc. finish renovated but still not open for business yet. from outside, it looks like hfj to me. I think the name is something like hong kong night club... something in that direction.

for bros like me who don't go regularly to HFJ, was at 仙子 (below Cleopatra) recently and saw they have quite a bit new stock, so total chio level much higher than before I feel. Didn't get #s cause was w my semi-regular but w HFJ easy to go do own look-look. Around 130 they do the big dance so best time if you want to see all

There are 2 under reno, one at level 3 and another at level 4. Both should be ready and operating within a few weeks from now. Heard that Lido Palace is also moving in to level 7 due to their lease expiry and have begun aggressively recruiting quality singers from China. Also managed to confirm with insiders that all will have HFJ.

With so many KTVs within the same building, very soon there will be lots of police and immigration raids like the Havelock area KTVs

Some (quite) ugly recriminations and personal spats (usually directly/indirectly about money spent at outings to these joints as a group). Don't understand why the penchant to quarrel in public and on permanent record for whole world to see.
