---Chapter 20---

​We both collapsed onto the bed, thoroughly exhausted, panting heavily, holding each other’s hands and looking into each other’s eyes. Carrie smiled at me weakly and I petted her head, reaching forward to plant a soft kiss on her smooth forehead. She hugged me tightly and we stayed in that position until her white iPhone 5 buzzed annoyingly on the bed-side table. She rejected the call in one tap and got up, walking into the bathroom and leaving me wondering who the call was from. I heard the shower turn on, enjoying the sound of water splashing onto the floor, when I heard her phone buzz again. I crawled towards her side of the bed and glanced at the caller ID.

*Stephanie*
Me: Hello?
S: Erm… Hello? Uh sorry, wrong number?
*Hangs up*

​I was just about to walk into the bathroom to ask Carrie who Stephanie was when I heard her phone buzzing again. I saw that Stephanie was calling again and slid the slider to accept the call, just as I did before

S: Hello Carrie, so weird, just now I call then some guy picked up.
Me: Hi, Carrie is in the bathroom now. Is there anything urgent?
S: Uhhh who are you?
Me: I’m Carrie’s friend. Shall I get her to call you back when she comes out of the shower?
S: Guess so? Thanks.
*Hangs up*

Me: Darling, who is Stephanie? She called just now. Call her back when you’re done kay?
C: Oh erm… Stephanie is my friend. I’m having lunch with her later. Come along, I want you to meet her.
Me: Ok then. I’ll go for a shower when you’re done.

​We took a lift to the carpark at 11:55am and Carrie climbed into the back, leaving the passenger seat down for Stephanie to get in later on. It turns out that Stephanie lives just across the road at The Seaview. I saw a tanned girl with long hair, tied into a pony tail, wearing a simple dark red sleeveless dress and matching red flats waiting outside the condo gates as we arrived. She gracefully climbed in and we drove on, making another U-turn before turning left into a nearby shopping mall. In the short ride, Carrie introduced me to Stephanie and vice versa. Glancing into the rear-view mirror before switching lanes, I saw that the two girls behind had their arms around each other. I took another look at the seductive scene behind me as I turned into the car-park.

Me: Eh Carrie, what’s with you two behind?

​The girls burst into laughter and kept on giggling until I finally found a lot after aggressively driving up a few floors. They whispered into each other’s ears as I reversed into the lot and started to grope each other. I almost slammed into the wall behind me as I watched the two of them teasing me, knowing that I would be looking behind. All 4 of my reverse sensors screamed, warning me to hit the brakes before it was too late.
