Happening Discos/Clubs in BKK

There is also a Maldives (or Mao Deep) in Bangkok. At Meng Jai Junction. For those of you not sure - Meng Jai is very near Hway Kwang. Its the area "opposite" of the night market. http://th.nightlife141.com/node/1390

Also very popular now. Concept is the same. Al fresco dining with live bands, seesha, pool tables etc... in a chill & relaxing environment.

I went to a couple of clubs and discos over the last week when I was in Bkk. For thai discos, I only went to Kachood and Hollywood. I got lucky at Hollywood and was awarded with a pooying for 3 nights. Hehe

Overall, kachood is much cheaper than Hollywood. Kachood has this on-going promotion where you get 4.75 litres of chivas for just 10,000 Baht. Mixers and ice are free flow at Kachood. The downside being that, it gets a bit boring at Kachood if you don't get girls.

At hollywood, drinks are slighly more expensive. Always get a thai person to help you order your drinks. They were selling 1 bottle of Red label for 2200 baht but if you're a thai, you can get it at 1300 baht. Mixers are at 60 baht each. All in, we spent about roughly 2800 to 3000 baht on each bottle (inclusive of mixers). So it is abit more pricey than kachood. Upside is that, the coyotes here are plentiful and the stage is so much bigger! They have shows on different days and are honestly, an eye opener. I got lucky here so I might be abit biased in my FR.

By the way, kachood is a g club, but Hollywood is not.
In order to score at the g club takes time, money, look and follow up effort all in.
Try Monty Carlo, 100% better than your Hollywood, but prepare to get a big hole in your pocket, even you got your Thai friend with you.

Wow, I didn't know bkk also have its own Maldives. In cnx here the sao saossss so far I yet to see they MAO DEEP, how about in bkk one?
It's time for me to pay bkk a visit. There's always many things to look for compare to cnx.

Went to Mao deep in BKK for dinner once, an outdoor restaurant. The problem with most outdoor restaurants is mosquitoes.

Some visitors may like Hollywood, but imho ithere are better night spots to be had. Place is quite grotty, with messy tables layout (this was awhile back, maybe they have improved?). Singers and coyotes buay pai, if that's good enough for you.

Dropped by Hollywood as well, and it's no longer as happening or crowded compared to 2 years back. It's a good place to bring people who haven't been to thai disco before, with the coyotes dancing (and even dancing gangnam style!), bikini parade, live band with singers etc.

There are FLs in Hollywood, as well as puyings trying to hook up, but party goers not as pretty as the sao saos at clubs like in RCA or in Thonglor area. In my opinion, the prettiest girls in Hollywood are the stage dancers...much better than most of the coyotes, who come around and ask u to buy LDs.

Yeah, red label was the cheapest there and my other friends were quite broke already. Most nights we drank at a thai disco (either Hollywood or kachood) and then we headed to clubs. There was no price attached to the pooying that was with me for 3 nights bro. She's a dance at Hollywood. That's why I count myself to be quite lucky.
