Definitely taken advantage. This kind of treatment should be performed by female therapist. A reputable spa or health clinic would not allow a male therapist to perform such treatment and such dress code for ladies. Is time you do something about it before further damage is done. Good luck.

I think in such cases, If im not wrong, the doctor has to ...


1.) Wear gloves (I think this is a must, NO BARE HANDS!)
2.) A female nurse has to be there on the spot if the doctor is a male (There are cases where the patient cries molest and if the female nurse is not there as witness, big problem! Cause the law will protect the female. In your case, I think you ask your gf to request the female to be there while the doctor do his job.)

Something is amiss here. Unless the therapist is not a registered TCM acupuncturists or practitioner, because there are strict guidelines when attending to patients of opposite sex:

1) TCM practitioners must not make any sexual passes or comments to patients under their care.

2) In the case of male practitioners treating female patients, the genital area and breasts should always be kept covered, exempt during an examination with a female assistant present.

3) For female practitioners must make sure that male genital areas are kept covered during treatments. Client dignity and modesty must be observed at all times.

Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines for TCM practitioners

4.2 RELATIONSHIPS WITH PATIENTS

4.2.1 Attitude towards patients
Patients shall be treated with courtesy, consideration, compassion and respect. They shall also be offered the right to privacy and dignity. It is recommended that a female chaperone be present where a male TCM practitioner examines a female patient. This will protect both the patient’s right to privacy and dignity, as well as the TCM practitioner from complaints of molestation or other allegations of outrage of modesty.

Anyway, I am equally surprise that your girlfriend was able to relate in great step-by-step details of the whole process to you as if you were there beside her. If feeling uncomfortable, then she should stop the treatment, it doesn't make sense at all for her and for you as her boyfriend to just let it be.

Btw, any details on the female therapists? Young? Pretty? MILF? PRC or Local? If no need to follow rules type, I'm sure most bros or me would want to seek this no-cover acupuncture treatment. The massages and exercises above seems to suit me just fine minus the needles
