Bro Levusjovi
Sad to hear of your unfortunate experience but am glad that you're safe & sound. I think that we should not venture across the causeway be it alone or in a group...not worth it.

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
Firstly, LevusJovi, sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident.
Having lived in Singapore and now back in Malaysia I see the difference. When in Singapore one doesn't need to worry about all this sort of things. But in Malaysia, I find that one has to be more alert and cautious. Another thing that I picked up, sometimes you need to walk around as you owned the whole damn place (not that I am lan si lan yeong). It is to intimidate these opportunist robbers who think they can take you on When I get approached by strangers who I sense are up to no good, I try to look damn tu lan or beh song like...what the fuck do you want (get what I mean?). But of course when faced with a knife pointed at me, got to surrender lor. It's only money, safety first. Almost got mugged in the backstreets of Jalan TAR some time back. Luckily nothing happened. Thank my lucky stars. |

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
And also be careful when using the toliet in City Square. A malay friend of mine (Singaporean) told me that he was robbed in the toliet a month ago. The guy who rob him is with a group of friends.
He got his wallet robbed. And it's contain his IC, driving licenese, credit card and RM$250. So next time go to toliet, make sure no suspecious people follow you. Somehow i got the feeling that these type of robbery will be getting more n more common. Becos the malaysia police had increase their petrol on the road so the robbers have no choice but divert their targets in Shopping centres..... Well, for me i had choose to travel further down to shop. |

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
[QUOTE=LevusJovi;2179958]Just to share my experince with Bros who like to cheong in JB. I thought this might be the best place to warn others bro on what had happen to me.
Last Sunday afternoon, I received a call from a malaysian colleague who say that he wanted to bring me to an exclusive underground club in JB. Was told that there were russian, malaysian, prc and viet gals in that club. So i arranged to meet him at City Square in JB at 5.00pm. Got really excited and thought that if the place is really good, then i can share this place with bros in SBF. When i reach JB City Sq at around 5.15pm, I called my friend and he told me that he will be slightly late. So i decided to go to the macdonalds near to the entrance at city square to wait for him. I ordered a kiddy meal (as i was expecting to have dinner with my colleague later) which come with a free toy. After ordering my food, I found a seat at the corner of macdonalds. It was a corner four seater table next to a wall. So I sat next to the wall and after finishing my food, i took a look at the toy. Then a skinny rugged looking man came over and sit right next to me. The conversation were as follows: Man : Are you a malaysian? FREN, its true that the desperate man is a drug addict. I often see, behind those back lanes along City square... many druggies holding onto plastic bags and smell from inside the plastic bags. Tell u the truth, i kena once before in City square when i was waiting for my fren alone outside city square and seated in Starbuck. Mind you, a place where there are many people. This frail looking man suddenly sat beside me and asked me silly questions like :" you look like my friend.." i said i dont know him.. he then said i looked like someone who had bashed his fren up in taman sentosa and produced a fruit knife to my belly asking me to give him RM 20 for food. i told him i am waiting for my fren and we dont hang around city square but skudai and do give us some face. he said since we are both black people, all the more i should help him. i advised him not to take any more drugs, although i know that is plain useless because those jokers who take drugs are hopeless due to the addiction. while talking crap to him, I produced a penknife double fast from my shirt pocket ( i always have two penknives with me in jb and an pepper spray ) within a fraction of a second, I elbowed him and got up from my seat to avoid him slashing me. I then slashed him right on the face once and he scampered off bleeding. I could have chased him, being a top runner and fighter and armed somemore and whack the hell out of him but i let him go. JB is a hopeless place, really. its useful if u wanna do business in the black market. very useful and perfect place. i would advise normal singaporeans without any links or businesses to do to stay away from malaysia altogether. I am a seasoned man up north and yet i do feel a bit uneasy when i am up north.

Without a penknife or spray, i will never appear in any places in jb. dont look like a blur fuck shopper while u are in city square. always be ready to whack and slash. this is my advice to those singaporeans who still insist on going city square. Everyday, at least 50 criminal cases happen just inside ccity square and periperal places. this is a true statistics derived from my Chinese police fren up north. he himself is armed with gun whenever he wanna walk in city square. if not he wont walk.

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
you have very good advice here ... if meeting frens, just DRIVE all the way straight to your fren house.
as a seasoned man in johor and armed myself, I dont even bother to walk along the city square area alone. there are robberies even inside carparks, lifts, stairways, toilets and its like everyday there will be 50 cases at least.. how to go ? those robbers see u alone they wanna makan u.. they see u with a girl, lagi best Quote:

Actually I thought if i put up a fight with him I may not lose out as I am bigger in term of size when compare to him. But when see knife balls shrink liao.
