1. Yes... still in Luzon. Thats Bulacan province... Malolos Town. Security there still oklah... but Manila not ok. Newspaper already got the bomb on bus. same with southern Thailand... so im not dare enough to go there.

2. Mindanao? thats not my GF hometown, its urs rite? so there's something can share with u about the pinoy local food...

a). JOLLIBEE --- the famous fast food there. same with our MarryBrown.
b). Sinigang --- something like our Asam o Tomyam but not spicy.
c). Halo Halo --- our ABC. but their taste nicer
d). Bibingka --- salty cake
e). Putu Bumbung --- our chinese food 'zhuang yuan gao'
f). ihaw ihaw --- our BBQ

besides, they also have the 'tuk-tuk' motor but i cant remember what they call it. and they also have another kind of public transport that they call 'jeep'... the car look like very colourfull and will give u 'Mexico' feeling coz they will paint the car with colour or imej and accessories...
