Some Vietnamese song also got quite popular in roach land

Actually hor many popular songs are cover-versions of each other in different languages especially in cuntries where copyrights protection are weak if the tunes are catchy/popular sure kena potong-jalan in another cuntry using their own languages as no need to re-invent the whole wheel or pay any copyrights mah

The funny or ironical part is that I learnt most wetnamese songs first and then only discover from other buddies that it is actually taken from chinese songs and not the other way round

True True. Think only vầng trăng khóc is so popular that there is a chinese cover 《月亮海》Yue Liang Hai.
《兄弟想你了》was not popular in China but the vietnamese cover 《Huynh đệ à》is very popular in China.
