Hey guys, I'm back with a couple more episodes again. Work's been hectic like crazy, and with the recent competitions having ended (might give you a hint as to what industry I'm in), i have some time.

To all my readers, so sorry for getting you guys hooked and then disappearing after. I use writing as an outlet to release my stress.... and i thought it might be good enough to have it here.

Anyway, here's one more. Hopefully this will keep you guys satiated for a bit while we wait for Bro ilock's next update. Mate, if you read this, just know I'm a huge fan of your work and you're fucking awesome! No pressure to rush though, good things take time.

So i put on my best smart casual, took a train and made my way to Mel. She was looking at her phone, in a denim shirt and skinny jeans. I slowed down my pace, and starting admiring her shapely legs and superb ass. Suddenly my phone vibrates and my music stopped.

Mel: Where r u?

Me: Just in front of you only.

When i reached her, she greeted me with a frown.

Mel: You're late.

Me: You took cab right? And remind me where you live at again?

Mel: Sixth Avenue. Hee (Sheepish grin)

Me: Sheesh.

So we went to the sale. I won't bore you with the details, but the last thing i want to do that day is to chaperone a chick while she shops.

Maybe if it's a lingerie sale perhaps. But no, it was a loads of people, noisy, aircon almost non-existent kind of sale.

All the seats were taken by zombified boyfriends and "besties". Today i resign myself to that same fate.

Mel: Eh eh this one nice right?

Me: Yeah yeah very nice....

This went on for a few more hours.

Later in the afternoon we went to Starbucks with her newly gained loot. Sipping on a Java Chip Frap, she quipped.

Mel: Thanks for the company Miles.

I put on the most fake smile i could.

Me: Hey no worries~ Which guy doesn't want to spend a lovely day like this in a store while his girl shops for clothes?

Mel: I know, it's boring for you. Come on let me make it up to you. Let's watch Batman. Okay?

My eyes lit up like Christmas.

Me: Batman? You sure? Not Twilight?

Mel: Noooo. I hate Robert Pattinson.

I could not love her more that moment.

Having bought tickets, soda, popcorn, we settled comfortably at the theatre. As ball-less as i was, i didn't try to do anything funny... Hands to myself. But damn that movie was good. Mel and myself was entranced, we didn't look at each other throughout the movie.

Mel: Whoa that was so good.

Me: Yeah fuck the Joker was epic.

We then rambled on about DC knowledge, i lost out though; being a Marvel fan. We strolled out to the opening where i lit up.

Mel: Wei, don't smoke so much. Will get erectile dysfunction.

Me: Okay mum.

Mel: Tsk. Okay so how now brown cow? You wanna grab a bite?

Me: Mooooo. I have just the place nearby.

I hailed a cab, and got the driver to take us atop Mount Emily where a cosy bar (one of my favourite spots to bring girls to then) in a pre war building awaited us.

We ordered enough to feed 5. Satay, burgers, finger food and a lot of drinks.

To be honest i kept doing calculations in my head to figure out how i was going to survive the month after forking the bill.

Mel: This is a great place. How did you find it?

Me: A friend of mine is a partner for the group.

I looked at her. Her complexion was rosy against the yellow light of the nearby lamp. Her eyes stared right into my soul. I was afraid, afraid that she might flee after seeing the darkness within.

She was so close to me i can make out notes of sandalwood from her scent.

Me: You alright Mel?

Mel: Yeah... I'm having such a wonderful time tonight.

Me: Glad to hear it. I-

Mel: No i really mean it. I haven't had a night out since Ray, well you know.

As she spoke in the smallest of voices, her eyes glistened.

Me: Hey, he's crap. He doesn't deserve you.

Mel: I'm just going to drink a lot tonight, is that okay?

Me: Sure. Bottoms up.

We drank till the wee hours of the morning. Those were the days, where i could afford to miss school the whole week, and still get an A end of semester. We talked and talked, about anything and everything, never running out of topics. Occasionally there would be a pause, and Mel would look at my face for a bit, take a sip of her gin and tonic, and smile. Hours flew like minutes.
