This is not the official fine but the market rate to pay the cops for not bringing you back to the lockup. Of course once you are inside the lockup..... this rate goes up to rm$2K

But this applies to Singkies & foreigners only especially those that come from Singapore. Locals that are caught in the raids are released without any penalty once they are verified to be bonafide customers and not involved in the syndicate.
