You ask, we try to answer.
You act as if you are the guru but all your answers are predictable and I already know what you are going to say.

I am very sure you are no medical expert. Just a volunteer helping out in the organisation.

I am interested in more medical-related issues pertaining to HIV and AIDs but looking at the way you act and answer, I don't think I need your shallow answers, honestly. I might as well google for answers I hope to look for, like what I have all along been doing.

No, you can't get HIV through masturbation. Not in the way you have described.

We don't have the figures on that. But if you are asking about how effective is 'safer sex' through using of condoms, sero-discordant couples or 1 HIV+ and 1 HIV- couples in relationships who have been practicing safer sex through use of condoms, the HIV-negative partner has been able to stay HIV-negative. So that means safer sex practices are still one of the most effective ways to stay HIV-negative and STI-free. Aside from not having sex, or being faithful to one partner

Haiz. If you read the comments of ministers, and if you follow the public's opinion in the newspapers, do you think that the Minister/average Singaporean is in favor of using tax-payer's money to subsidise medical treatment for a person who has HIV?

Some people think that if we do that, we are promoting promisciousity, encouraging people to go and have sex with prostitutes, forget about family values, asian values, and we are saying that its okay to go and get HIV.

That's why the unlikely that there will be policy change in the future.

But if you want, you can write to your MP, write in to forum page.

So, bro Afa, do you agree with that idea?
For me, I am totally against it. We are living 8 years after 21st century (for God sake), and they are still talking about culture and crap.
So sad if they still assume HIV+ ppl -> immoral. They are many innocent ppl out there that contracted this virus.

Anyway, nvm, I know it is hard to push the gov about this idea. But, did Afa ever try to talk to gov about this?

Are you feeling OK ? AFA_hmor is doing a good job educating the forumers. Even if he's a volunteer, so what ? He's still doing good for the community, and I have absolute respect for volunteers who put in time and effort for public good without any financial rewards.

If you can Google for answers, good for you. But that does not mean you should put other's good efforts down. Many people may not know how to google properly, nor can they tell facts from internet garbage, and will appreciate AFA_hmor's efforts to give them answers plain and simple without all that incomprehensible medical lingo.

What have YOU contributed ? Maybe you should post your "research" results for our benefit instead of criticising other people's good deeds.

Re: Anything you want to know about the People who have HIV/AIDS?

If a person is lying face up with his brief and shorts on(those shorts provided by TN) and the wl only with her panties on, and the wl sits on the guys crotch area, will her vaginal fluid be able to pass through her panties, the guy's shorts and brief to infect the guy with HIV if the wl is HIV positive?

Must the wl's juice touch the penis head to infect the person or touch any part of the penis(assuming no cut on the penis) and sure will kena, provided that the wl is HIV positive?

No, if you are wearing briefs and she is wearing panties, it's very very very unlikely that you will be infected even if she has HIV. She has to be dripping like a tap and her juice soak through her panties and your brief, AND you'll have to rub your dick so roughly that you scratch the skin, a very unlikely scenario.

If not cut on the dick, the only entry is the dick hole, but again, unless you are really soaking in her juice ( as is the case with penetrative sex ), its also extremely unlikely to kenna.

In other words, your scenario is quite "safe".

If i wanna go for AIDS test, do I have to stop all sexual activities for 3 months before going to the test so that the result is accurate?

This is a strange question. The short answer is no, you don't have to stop ALL sexual activities for 3 months (eg, HJ, petting, covered BJ should be OK since they are "safer" activities ). You should only worry about activities that exposes you to HIV, such as unprotected sex or BBBJ or condom breakage.

You do a test to see if you were exposed to HIV. Obviously, if you keep screwing unsafely, then you have to keep going for tests. Doing 1 test only tests for HIV exposure in the previous 1-3 months. If you have been screwing unsafely with a person of unknown or dubious sexual history ( one night stands or WL) the day before the test, then you need to go for another test 1-3 months later, and so on and so forth.

Actually, to add on to what peanuts123 said.

Its better that you stop all unprotected sex, including BBBJ. Because if you are HIV+ and haven't been detected, you are at your most contagious and you would be giving other people HIV.
