Wives turn 'informers'

JOHOR BARU : Hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

The phrase aptly relates to many of the raids by police on entertainment outlets where foreign women ply their "trade".

The raids were organised after police received tip-offs from wives whose husbands frequented those outlets.

"When their husbands returned home broke, drunk and having the scent of women's perfume, they would alert the police of entertainment outlets providing such services," said state Anti-Vice, Gaming and Secret Society unit (D7) head, Deputy Superintendent Tan Yap Seng.

In the latest case, Tan said a team raided an entertainment outlet operating under the guise of a vocal training centre in Taman Pelangi on Wednesday, and arrested 18 foreign women.

He said several detectives went undercover a few days prior to the 11pm raid following a tip-off by a wife of a regular patron.

During their investigation, they learnt that there were 19 Chinese nationals, aged between 22 and 35, working as guest relations officers there. These women would report for duty at 7am and normally leave by midnight.

The "vocal training centre" turned out to be a pub, where liquor and "services" of women were offered.

Of the 19 women nabbed, six did not have valid travel documents, while the others had violated their social-visit passes.

The outlet's manager, a 35-year-old local man, was arrested to facilitate investigations.

Tan said operations against vice activities codenamed Ops Noda was an ongoing process.

The cost depend on what type of "mike" the PRC gals are using .... if the "mike" is the "attached£ type it cost very much more compared to those "cordless" type

Yeah , hopefully after the 2 week strong winds , this saturday should able to find syts, heard that last saturday they hide somewhere , we miss the place, too bad, check it out again coming saturday , cheers
