Not sure if laws have changed for the past few years, but if your viet gf gives birth in VN:

1. Your child's birth certificate will not have your name as both of you are not officially married. But you will be able to insert your name in the Viet Birth certificate if you and your viet gf gets married within 1 year after your child is born.

2. Your child will not be able to get Singapore Citizenship as you are still married when your child is born. There are lots of Singapore man with your same problem and there's nothing they can do about it. Unless you are single and officially divorced when your child is born.

with a DNA report...find a lawyer can help to file the case in sinkieland and recognised the kid to be a Singaporean before 18 years old...if son has to serve NS...then can apply to be Sinkee citizen...

this child still has legal share to father asset with DNA report upon father death...

TS. Your baby can be born in VN. As for the birth cert you will need to submit a DNA test report the So Thu Phap in HCM. Then you get a document to certify you are the father from them after about a month. But you must submit and collect this personally.
Next go to the Ward office to do the birth cert. But your name can only be on the back page of the birth cert since you are not married to the baby's mother. This baby will not be recognized as Singapore citizen because you not married to baby's mother before baby born. To make citizenship for it will be a whole long process.

Do reconsider about the abortion. It can be a lifetime of regrets.
