happened to speak to my ex of 3 yrs online via MSN,got to knw she actually fell sick and need to go for a major OP and currently nt wrking resting at home.Although it has been almost 2 yrs since we parted,my heart aches when i got to know the news..

its only natural tat ur heart aches when u see this way..even if its juz a normal frd..u wld feel this way also..somemore its someone who have shared ur life together before and always will hv a special place in ur heart..as a frd..i think its only rite tat u show concern to her but when the relationship will continue anot..juz let nature take its course ba..if it were me..i wld send her some flowers n tonics..i think it wld cheer her up at this stage of her life

Well... You still get to speak to her... I have not seen or heard from my Ex since we parted. I only got to the see the 'updates' frm friendster abt her and her her new BF......

cheer up bro..it all depend on how the relationship ended then..most of the times..its not surprising tat both parties end up not talking..but sometimes time heal all wounds..and after many years..u will hv ur chance to talk to her again

if u got the time..read this book 'bleechers' by John Grisham..it took the main character 10 yrs before he has the chance to +++ to his ex again

I suppose if u want to maintain contact n the other party not, we know who initiated the breakup lor. Sometimes, better not hv contact so the wound get healed completely, else ache just get prolonged.

I'm that kind of person where, no matter how clean or bad the break up is done...i would not like to maintain contact with the person. Not even for pity sex (some people use the words "for old times sake").

It is better to have a clean cut rather than to linger on with some strings attached. It will simply just further jepardised whatever left in the relationship.
