Further to what bro Ang076 has said, this is my 2 cents worth on the need to be discreet.

If one thinks that AV, immigrations, etc, are not aware of the existence of GP, VV, etc or their respective locations, that person would be sorely mistaken. Big Brother knows everything that goes on on this island.

However, why places like VV and GP remain in business despite Big Brother's All Seeing Eye? My theory is this; that Big Brother realises that there is a need to maintain balance.

If the joints are operated on a very low profile, there are still outlets for cheongsters to go and get their release, but at the same time, minimal complaints from the general public.

By keeping the place discreet, and passing the contact details and address to a small circle of regulars, it is a signal to Big Brother that the joints will not attract too much public attention.

For someone like Jchua, even if he wants to write to TNP, if he doesn't have the address, it would cause minimal damage.

And if the joints maintain their low profile, restricting admission to regulars only, plus avoiding the HDB heartlands, there is little incentive for Big Brother to intervene. Big Brother knows that if he shuts 10 joints today, a hundred more smaller ones may simply spring up tomorrow in some other locations. It would be harder to contain the situation then.

I believe Big Brother's policy is containment and not absolute eradication of these joints.

With the current joints, the girls come and remain in Singapore with valid social visit passes, make their money and go back upon the expiry of their social visit passes. Big Brother knows that the bosses make sure their girls do not over-stay their passes. So you effectively reduce the number of potentially thousands of PRCs overstayers remaining in Singapore.

As an analogy, everyone knows that GL is a legalised red-light district. This is in line with Big Brother's policy of containment. Some people may say that GL is seedy and may appear to have a high crime rate. For me, I think GL is probably one of the safest places to be in Singapore. The bosses in GL want to maintain balance with Big Brother. They make sure that there are no petty criminals within their districts. Why? Because it would affect their businesses.

Every now and then, Big Brother would make his sweeps to clamp down on vice and gambling. But those girls they pick up and send back are normally the girls on the tail end of their social visit passes. Why? I think there are some arrangements between Big Brother and the bosses in GL. When the place became too conspicuous, and the general public starts complaining, Big Brother needs to take some action. The bosses in GL knows the need to maintain balance and provide some joints for Big Brother to clamp down on. Have the whole thing reported in the news so that the general public is satisfied. After that, the cycle starts again.

How is the above relevant to VV and GP? In my view, by limiting the number of people who knows the location, it would reduce the "noise" generated by these joints. The lower the profile these joints maintain, the lesser the inclination of Big Brother to clamp down on these joints.

We must at the same time balance that with the bosses' need to generate revenue from these joints. At the moment, it seems that there is a steady stream of regulars already (seems to be quite packed these days). Each girl and each room has a fixed turn-around time. So even if the client-base is enlarged, it does not equate to more revenue for the bosses. There is thus little incentive for the bosses to further enlarge their client-based and risk generating too much "noise" thereby inviting Big Brother to take action.

Yes, we all started off as newbies. But there are ways to gain credibility. Most of the credible seniors started off posting honest FRs on romps in HCs, GL or ladies under OKTs.

With credible FRs, people can easily verify that you are a genuine punter and feel more secure sharing information and contacts with you. I have even given contacts to folks with less rep points than they started off with, because I have seen their FRs and know that they are genuine. Conversely, I have not given contacts to folks who have hundreds of rep points but I cannot see a single FR from them because their points were gained posting links, pics, vids and/or stories. When it comes to the crunch, credible FRs from which people can tell that you are genuine, are a lot more important than rep points.

So be patient, earn your stripes soon you will be able to get any contact you want.
