Why must spend so much? I thought jc boy jus wants to be friends and "follow" around?

Can "follow" her go bugis guangyin temple to pray, then take bus to Golden Mile eat Som Tom, later hang out at 1 of the pubs there for a beer and ask her sing Thai song to u....

bus fare = probably $5 for 2 altogether
guangyin temple = $2 for donation
Som Tom = $2? Never eaten there before...
beer = $6? Can't remember... drink only 1 time there...
Ur Thai tirak to sing song for u = free

Less than $20 in all.

Wow, sound like expert.. u must've gone out with alot of WLs and sian alot of them... oh ya, i forgot.. u "almost" bought a gold watch for 1 of them.

I no experience in sianing WL back in s'pore so i don't really know the market rate..

But my normal dating with my S'pore gf during weekends only cost around $20... so i don't know why i must pay more than $20 to "sian" a WL... enlighten me pls.... and why ppl say S'pore girls materialistic and Thai WL down to earth when I have to pay more to sian Thai WL?

This 2 statement quite contridicting right? First u wanna "impress" the WL by travelling in taxi, carrying credit card and paying for her friends....

bro i think u got it mixed-up, Som Tam is a kind of traditional Issan (North-East) dish which typical thai ladies love to eat. Why? Becos it's spicy and hot after consuming it, it will give a burning feeling in the stomach.

The ingredients includes raw papaya shredded into fine strips, tomatoes, long beans, mini crabs, small shrimps, chillies, garlics, lime juice + a thai paste named pala(which stink like hell) all mixed into a pounder.

But for starters, who cannot stand the smell of the pala can also opt for the dish without poo + pala(without crab + thai paste). Or u can just order Som Tam Thai and they will know not to add the crab and paste.

Finally Som Tam can be a mixture of anything, like carrot, banana or they can add Kanom-Chin(Chinese Rice Noodle). It all depends how you want it to be done.

PS* If u can savour a plate of Som Tam with poo + pala then u can consider yourself a truly THAI CHEONGSTER..................

Like tat u must try this 招排菜 "Poo Pao Kali" Crab with curry sauce. After eating sibuay steam but must ask them use Sri-lanka crab cos thai like to use small crabs or flower crabs........
