Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
This is an outrage!!!!!! What more must happen before they are willing to openly admit there is a big problem with crime! To think they give organised crime a hard time!

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
Tough question and can only HOPE that things will get better which I doubt. In my own opinion, my conclusion is that crimes (petty to violent) occurred because criminals are embolden when their crimes goes undetected; giving them further courage to continue, even graduating from petty to violent crimes over time.
To be fair, crimes are committed everywhere. If you are unfortunate to be a victim, it's best to think first how to get out of it alive - and if it is only money that's lost, don't fight with your only 1 life. My 2 cents.

Re: JB Police Chief gets death threats
the jb police chief in a pain in the neck from those DSPs Chinese senior police officers in Johor branch.
Apparently he did not want to get involved with the powerful chinese sydicates like what the DSPs Chinese police officers has done. In another word, he did not want bribes to let sydicates keeping running unscathed. Therefore, his kakis, those DSPs chinese police officers, threatened him together with the Chinese gangsters chiefs Quote:

‘Untouchable’ crime kingpin arrested in Johor Baru
Quote:
Report from The STAR dated Sunday 5 August 2007 :- ‘Untouchable’ crime kingpin arrested in Johor Baru JOHOR BARU : A powerful crime lord, involved in organised underworld activities including vice and gaming, was detained here several days ago. The 55-year-old suspect, previously regarded as an “untouchable,” was arrested by a special team of officers from Bukit Aman under the Anti-Money Laundering Act. The suspect, who is also widely mentioned in a blog, has since been taken to an undisclosed location in the country to assist in investigations. It is learnt that the crime lord, described as the head of one of the most powerful syndicates in the country, was arrested under a directive from the Internal Security Ministry. He was picked up by the team from the commercial crime unit at an undisclosed location here. Federal commercial crimes director Comm Datuk Ramli Yusuf confirmed the arrest of an underworld figure for money laundering under the Restricted Residence Act. He declined to elaborate further. It is learnt that the suspect is being detained under a 60-day detention order, which can be extended up to two to three years through a directive from the Internal Security Minister. It is learnt that several police reports have also been lodged by family members alleging the arrest was unlawful. This is the second major arrest in the state involving crime syndicates. Last month seven suspected Malaysian gang leaders with links to the Singapore underworld, allegedly involved in vice and gaming activities here and across the Causeway, were arrested. All of them were arrested with the assistance of the Singapore police. However, one of the seven has since been released. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan recently said that police had identified seven gang leaders who had been terrorising the state with the help of influential people. He said police were gathering intelligence to either take action against these leaders under preventive laws or to charge them in court. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork |

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
Went 'Shun De Bak Kut Teh' in 'Da Ma Hua Yuan' around 1300hrs for lunch with a friend. As there no parking lot opposite the coffeeshop, decide to park @ the open area beside the muslim coffeeshop near the canal.
Finish around 1400hrs and walk back to my car. I had a bad habit to unlock my car from distance, thus I already open my door while I am 20meter away from my car. A short, stout chinese man around age of late 30s rush out from the alley. (Initially my friend and I thought he is an OKT looking for customer to patronize LSB but realize he not later as I am in JB instead of KL and he stop me from getting into my car). Anyway, my friend at this time already went in to the car by the passenger side. Same old story again, tell me he come from Penang and I have parked my car in his terrority before saying he need money to take bus home. Talk to him for 1 minute before my friend realise something is not right. I don't want to make an ugly scene, so give him RM2 and told him take it as a parking fee which is standardize when someone usher you to a parking lot in Malaysia. He is least satisfy and ask for more. My blur friend who already sense something wrong now is standing behind him with a Swiss knife (I keep 2 inside my car, 1 on the passenger side while the other on driver's and most my friend knew it) in his hand. Told him to take from my friend if he wants more money. And guess what, the asshole tell us that he is a HIV carrier, show us numerous needle marks on his arm and dare as to attack him if we are not scare of his blood. LL don't want to take the risk so tell him I will give him another RM1 and so be it if he want to spoil a fight. He took it and walk back into the alley quoting that we are lucky as he is not in the mood to play punk etc... Moral of the incident is, never unlock you car until you are beside the door. I have been traveling to JB/ KL at least 1 time per weeks for the pass 5 years and yet still kena these kind of shit even when I consider myself very alert while walking along the street. I am lucky to make off with RM3 but come to think of it, even he request a large amount i will also pay because it not worth fight with these kind of people. It not a matter of winning or losing the fight but god know if he is really an HIV infect and I seriously do not wish to get in contact with his blood if a fight really break out. Regards, |
