Preferebly an agent near Ratchada as i prefer to stay there due to it's convenience to all the hot spots.

Thanks in advance.
Ditto88,

It should make no difference if you pay cash or credit card on the internet or at their office. If you cancel or shorten your stay, you must accept their cancellation policies. Perhaps you are not using a reputable company. We have refunded quite a few samsters who have shortened their stay. As long as its in advance etc, not last minute. They should be able just to leave the cash refund at hotel reception for you.

Cheers

Correct about the Zenith...500bht joiners fee.

The majestic grande looks really nice. How much is teh royal president? Is your price lower than with the website?

But the first part of my trip will be with some friends who are on a rather tight budget.
1000/1500baht max. Which hotel would you recommend?
I am thinking of the area around siamsquare and Sukhumvit.
The Town Lodge looks real nice. How far is it to the BTS station? Meters/minutes.
What about the majestic suites? Is it any good?
I hope it's not like the Grand President...I nearly got one of their old rooms. It was so dirty and dingy. Felt like a cheap motel to me...

Anyway for my friends who are not real mongerers...the sights and shopping of BKK is also important. That's why my choice of Sukhumvit area and the closeness of BTS station.
Juggernutt,

Already sent you a pm. However would like to add some more info.

President group have increased their prices so much last season. So many customers complaining and shifting to other hotels. They are renovating their rooms at the moment.
Pretty much luck regarding rooms, like Majestic Suites. Some good, some old and dingy. Location great though. Must book ahead.

Town Lodge, opened less than 1 year and everything in top class condition. Have Wireless Lan, only 100 Baht/stay. Complimentary tuk tuk from the hotel to main road/BTS. Good value, small cosy hotel.

If you can. stay in at The Majestic Grande. The best value hotel in Bangkok.

Will get back about Pattaya on Monday.

Cheers

Focus Four,

I think its better to send it in via the website. That way we can track and keep all the info in our reservation system. Payment is via our secure payment server online. Via Bank account will incur transfer charges for you.

Look forward to seeing your booking.

Cheers

Bro,

Just say "PA LA SOO" hotel ... majority will know.
if he shakes head... just tell him Emerald hotel. instead of driving into the lobby.. just direct him to drive into the road ...

I did that the last trip. Have fun...
