For the past years in Shanghai and Beijing, I did not have any problem with the 11 PM rules known to be imposed by the authority and hence the hotels. However, when walking in with your girl friend, behave in a well mannered way. Do not act, using a local lingo here, "ya ya". Usually, hotels with 4 stars and above are not so strict on the 11 pm rule.

Sort of miss everyone in Shanghai, although shyly I must admit that I was there during the last two weeks. First week was hectic shuttling between Shanghai and neighbouring towns with bossess. Hence, I brought along a lot of rubber-bands.

Second week, after a failed attempt to go to Beijing, had to call all the guys to Shanghai for a meeting. In short, I was very very occupied. Sorry for not meeting up with all of you in Shanghai.
Nevertheless, with the permission to go China again, I will be expected to go China very often. I may need your help again in Hangzhou.

This is a bad week as meeting are lining up, and with the begining of works at my work place, mobility is reduced. Shall call you up again.

Went to Nightman Disco (Close to Beijing Internatioal Exhibition Hall where the hold all the car show) on Tuesday night and not much girl in the Disco.

I can't really remember the name, its one of those qi pai shi, with saloon, its on the second floor, along si nan lu. if you are coming from jian guo lu, ask them make a left turn at si nan lu, about 50m away from the lawson 24hr shop, you can see a qi pai shi(where ppl play the cards game).

I am not an expert in teaching how one should be well mannered, in my humble way, I think you should not behave as it you own the place, talk loudly, stare at people, ..... With due respect, I am sure you know how to behave as a gentleman during those occasions that call for such manner.
