Continuing from Page #62, Post #919......


Reached home from the wet market. The whole of late morning was nothing to mentioned. However June and my mum were in the kitchen busy preparing lunch for us. Meanwhile I was spending time with Isabelle at the garden doing some basic gardening, watering the plant. Isabelle was definitely enjoying herself. From spraying water to the plant to me! In return I sprayed her back. In the end both of us were drenched!


Me: "Oh oohh. Mummy gonna scold Isabelle and me for been wet!"
Isabelle.: "Hehe....you sprayed me first uncle. I will tell mummy it's not my fault."

Me: "Huh huh....Isabelle bully me huh! I am going to tell mummy."
Isabelle: "Mummy will trust me."


We stepped into the kitchen. June saw us in our state....


June: "Wah....2 kids. One big and one small."
Mother: "Aiyoh! You such a big guy how can make this girl behaves like you!? Quick bring her to take a bath and change to a new set of dry clothes. Don't let her catch a cold, aiyoh!"

June: "Isabelle....be a good girl. Go and bath. Make sure you dry your hair after that ok."
Isabelle: "I want mummy to wash for me."

June: "Hmmm.....mummy is cooking now. You are a big girl. You can do it yourself."
Isabelle: "mummy..."

Mother: "Leave the cooking to me...don't worry."
June: "Then....thanks you aunty. So sorry."

Mother: "Aiyah....say nothing dear."


June brought Isabelle for a bath. Whereas I stay in the kitchen and help my mum."

Me: "So ma....how do you find her."
Mother: "Why ask me this question. She is your girlfriend. Don't need to ask me. You are old enough to judge yourself who is right who is not suitable for you."

Me: "Aiyah....just want to seek your opinion mah."
Mother: "As a mother, as a parent, I just want you to be happy. The path is yours. You have to be answerable to your action. If you truly love her, then take good care of her. Don't let her suffer. I can see she is a very decent and well-manned girl. From the way she helps me, the way she talks to me, I can feel that she is sincere. No agenda hidden. The way she takes care of the little girl is enough to show the convince me that she will be a good wife and a mother. So I am not going to say much to you."

Me: "Hor...."
Mother: "Just be more sensible and sensitive to her especially this period of time when she is still settling her ex-relation. Women will definitely need someone close to them, listen to them. You don't need to give them constructive ideas or answer. Just give them a listening ears and a firm shoulder to lean on....understand."

Me: "Hor...."
Mother: "I thought you are very experience with girls or this while?"

Me: "Huh...aiyah....those xiao mei mei.....too early and wrong audience to show my true love lah! But this one special."
Mother: "Then.....do something loh."

Me: "Do what?"
Mother: "You know it. If time is ripe, action ok."

Me: "Wah...you and pa can't wait to have grandson huh? Then ask brother to produce one for you folks loh."
Mother: "......sigh......"

Me: "Ok lah....i go take a bath. Is the lunch ready soon?"
Mother: "Will call you. Don't worry."


That's about my mum. She is a strong woman who will give alot of constructive ideas and answer yet never direct. She would always twist around and let me and my siblings to analyse. Well I guess that's what she has inherit after practising so many years in the law industry.
