Never buy stocks when there is a Economic Downturn. Today might be cheap, tomorrow will be cheaper. U never know when is the lowest. Same like property.

If you want to make money, buy when the economics is good.

Anyway, the stocks price is SGX is relatively very cheap now compare to many other regions. If U do study carefully, there are many companies trading below NAV and with a PE of less than 8. Look at Samudera and Orchard Parade for examples.

Another point I need to point out, "Saving money for Rainy days" is not a good idea, because you will never know what will happen tomorrow. Just spend or invest within your means and you will be ok.

I'm staying at the Lien An Saigon Hotel this time(near Tay My Dinh and across from the New World) Thought I would give it a try to see how it is. My plan was to check in around 6:45, quick shower and then give the salon next door to the hotel a try from 7 to 8:30 or so. Where are you staying? You wanna do hair wash and massage first as well? Then we could jump in a taxi to Vic to get there around 9. Give my ger some hugs have some drinks and shoot some pool for an hour or two. After that I'm open to ideas

If its on LE Anh Xuan Street its not exactly opposite New World. If you had booked this hotel you should have told me, I would have booked you into another hotel 1 minute away from the Pool Place.

Many economists are predicting this same scenario of reaching USD200 per barrel but I don't quite agree with them, one of the main reason demand ramped up during the last 1 year was mainly due to China's overheating economy plus the constructions & preparations to the Olympics. Once the Olympics is over the demand will naturally tone down.

Moreoever the bitter cure or pill to the rising crude oil prices is another even worst scenario, that is recession, once recession sets in demand will be affected than naturally prices will follow downhill.....
