You must have chosen the Advanced Search, which is the place I've seen that threads vs posts checkbox, though your search also results in threads if you go to the normal Search at the TOP of the page. However, if you go a bit below that to the area on the right of the SECOND blue bar, which says Search This Thread -- then that one will show results (by default) as individual posts. That advanced search uses 'show threads' as its default selection is a bit of a screwup in the UI, I think. It's a fairly useless way to search for a particular piece of information, since you must scroll thru the entire thread still to find what you're after.

The new place iin terms of size is almost 4 times that of the old location. considering that the crowd there is mostly foreignors, the prices are abit on the high side.

Charging for girls started from the KTVs where you have to buy "hour" for the girl to sit with you. and now it seems that the idea has caught up with quite a few places here.

Some will charge by the hour, and some will you a flat fee per head count. Times are changing......

The Dam Sen Floating Restaurant, at 03 Hoa Binh Street, District 11, has recently started to serve chicken rice from 10 a.m-9 p.m. every day.

A dish of Dam Sen-style chicken rice consists of a piece of steamed chicken served with rice, salad, cucumber slices and pickled carrot.

It can be accompanied by either an onion and ginger sauce or soy sauce mixed with sugar and chili.

I went to Thai Express as I like their Tom Yam soup in Singapore but was totally disappointed!

I order "Tom Yam Kung" and the waitress asked me, "You want Seafood, Fish or Prawn?"!!!! They didn't even trained their worker properly.

Worse, when I tried the "Tom Yam Kung", it was SWEET!!! Typical Vietnamese Taste!!! Asked the Manager over, tell him the problem. He went into the kitchen and come back to tell me "It is normal! It suppose to be sweet!" I asked him whether he has been to Singapore's "Thai Express" to try their "Tom Yam" before, he replied me by saying their chief Chef is trained in Singapore and the taste is approved by Singapore. After that, he just walk away.

Many might tell me, the taste should be localised but my point is, Call it Viet express or Viet Thai express!!
