Hope you have left that part of the pain behind. You must have spent quite an amount on them.

Being a WL is just like another normal job for them, this we can never understand. Heard from some WLs that they want to quit but can't as the family has a huge expenditure. How can the parents be happy while knowing that their daughter is selling her body to unknown strangers?

What I can think of is "If I can get big $$$ easily just by opening my legs, why not? I don't have to go thru all this hardship already!"

Wth....anyway they have to go through the biggest hardship ever if they enter this trade...and that is loniness.

That's worst than torture or even the job itself.
No one to open up to,
no one to lend a crying shoulder to(sincerely i mean, not like their family, physically there but mentally want them to get better and start working and feeding them.)

The mentality is that If they can feed their families & see them live well, the hardship that they go thru is worth it.

Fully agree on this part!

Even if have to beg along the streets, will not get the wife or the daughter to sell their bodies. Once started, the emotional scars will be there no matter what they say.

Last time, I used to think those WL, once they go back they will enjoy life...married and live a life they want to live.

If so then why after the tour of duty, the family demands more?
If the family love the daughter, they would want her to happy right?

You know the saddest thing is that after they earn their money...it's their family(and possibly their lazy bf as well) who is enjoying it not them...how is this fair???

I agree with you bro, Life IS UNFAIR. In this world there will always be givers and takers.

However if the giver gives willingly even when she knows that her actions are foolish, who are we to pass judgement. We can opined as much as we want but unless we hold a position that can change their lives, I guess it's all semantics.

Maybe if we all unite (unrealistically of course) we can take a leaf out of the often heard National Geographic slogan: "If the buying stops, the killing will too."

"FAT HOPE" if you ask me. I guess the killing will continue....sigh....

Thai gers are brought up with this mentality. Does it apply to the thai chinese gers to? They too put family as number 1?

I mean since they have chinese parents, I'm sure there's some change or difference in culture. Or maybe not?

Not only TGs are brought up to be fillial. In fact, children of all nationalities are taught to do so. It's just whether they want to "listen".

If you are in their situation, born in those villages or those towns. Not much entertainment nor money to spend like in SG, so most of the time you will be with your family. Over a long period of time, the strong bond is there. So their "sacrifice" is sort of repayment to the family who brought them up painstakingly.

Basically, it all boils down to the differences in thinking between us & them.

Thai chinese gers and thai gers, are their growing up environment the same?
Are they exposed to the same thai culture?

The basics should be the same. Maybe abit of deviation here & there along their growing up years.
