In the past have, many years ago. They used fake passport. But now not possible to forge as china is getting very strict and SG immigration uses Iris And Facial Biometrics as the primary biometric identifiers for immigration clearance at all checkpoints.

I heard now after 3 years of departure, the WL can return to SG for leisure/tour but must be on group tour.
