I am holding en employment pass (P1, monthly income about 20K) and want to marry an HC girl who is from Malaysia.

Can I marry her in Singapore? If not, can I marry her in Malaysia and apply dependent pass for her to stay here with me.

Wow mthly income 20k??? U CEO or senior manager of which company?? Any job for me??

Friend u serious abt marrying a HC ger?? My only advice is to think twice. Sorry for being KPO.

To answer your question, I guess u can marry her in S'pore. S'pore is so called a 'democratic' country. Hope the rest of the bro here can help.

With that kind of salary, u really need to come to this forum to ask how to marry meh ? U got so much money, just send one of your beh kah to the Registrar of Marriage to ask and I am sure all your bah kahs who have been trying to carry your balls will be glad to run that errand for u.

Of course you can marry her (unless she is already married in Singapore). You can try applying dependent pass for her, but I doubt it will be approved. One of my friend tried applying for his Thai wife (who work in GL before) and till to date, it wasn't approved.

Thank those who encourage me.

My monthly income including bonus is about 20K, more or less. I mention it because I have heard that income may play an important factor for such applications.

Actually, I have found it quite difficult for me to approach friends to ask around for a thing like this. That's why I post here.

Well, it is not surprise to me that U fall in love w HC gals and wanting to marry her.

A freind of mine fall in love w a HC gal. He is married w 1 kid. The HC gal has 2 kids. He really devoted my feelin for her. At the end of the day, both of them realise that we can't be couple. But ended up being friends.

At least my fren experience another round of love and feelin. It is nothing wrong to love anyone, even HC gal. Love is love. We dont link her" profession" to distinguish love. Can a murderer fall in love with anyone.?

Last time it was quite easy to use the high income as a means to get the citizenship or PR easily
Nowadyas its tough cos there are too many cases of this.
In fact during the last raid where 100over gals kena, quite a few actually were 'married' to Singaporeans!
And majority and pp n visas detained, now awaiting deportation.
But then again, thats for Singaporean not for EP holders.
One more thing to consider is what is the current pass she is holding now?
If its EP/WP in hc then...............
