AV does not do enough to stop erotic massage parlours from operating

Erotic massage parlors are increasingly rampant again, right after the General Elections. In addition to operating in the red light district, sex massage parlors have been spreading to every corner of Singapore, such as department stores, HDB area or places which young people often hang around.


But I think these erotic massage parlour owners do not have any regards to our laws and judiciary as they continue to operate in the vicinity of the Supreme Court and Parliament House.


Yesterday, I went to Funan IT mall to buy a computer, after which I went across to the Adelphi to look for some audio equipment. I was surprised to see so many erotic massage parlours with women wearing sexy clothes and short skirts suspenders, winking and waving at every man. Out of curiosity, I went to one such shop. Soon after, the masseuse start to ask me to do special services. I acted blurted and asked her what are the special services. While she was stroking my groin area, she bluntly told me it's masturbation, boobs massage or even sex

I rejected the masseuse's request and she immediately told me that the entrance fee I paid earlier is meant for the boss who never come to the shop. And massage ladies like her have to depend on doing special services to earn their living. I gave her an excuse we cannot have sex in the shop as police may come anything. She told me not to worry on this as their shop never get caught once in the past 2 years. She claimed her boss got some connections and would know in advance of the planned raids. They would then shut the shop for that day and go to Marina Sands instead and let the police raided others.


I still rejected her and walked out of the shop. During my short trip there, I noticed that many young men visiting this shop and the nearby massage parlours. From their look, I believe they are just secondary students or poly undergrads.


Later I related my experience to my friends and found that for at least 2-3 years, Adelphi has been a famous place for people who look for extra sexual services in massage parlours. One of my friend said this is the Singapore Brothel-In-A-Shopping-Centre concept.


Now I'm very puzzled. Why would these massage parlours be allowed to operate at Adelphi, just next to Supreme Court and they can provide all sorts of those sexual services you would find in Geylang?


Has our Anti-Vice Team do their due diligence in combating such vice activities? If they do, how come till today, we still have so many brothels in Adelphi?


Also, why our Anti-Vice Team did not press charge against the Management of Adelphi, for allowing such sexual massage parlours to operate in their premises? After all, the police charged budget hotel operators for letting a handful of hookers to use their place to conduct business.


If these massage parlours can operate their sex business next to Supreme Court for so long, what else they cannot do next?


Maybe the Head of Anti-Vice can comment on it? It's time the Head of Anti-Vice to re-assess and re-audit the current mode of operation and identify the gaps. He needs to know why there can be so many erotic massage parlours can operate in Singapore and in Adelphi, just besides the Supreme Court, there can be a dozen of such shops.


If he cannot resolve the problems, perhaps a new Head would help.

I did a short reading on his FR and postings.... he seems to be a cheongster a few years back... got some close masseuses (coz he was looking for them)... but now he has changed for some reason... manage to think of a few reasons........

3. He likes masseur (male) now

The judges are very very busy clearing these back logs and do not have much time even for lunches.
