Photographers vs Aspiring SYT Models

Did a search and realised that quite a few of bros here are professional photographers with portfolio. And I do not mean home-made pussy shots

its been quite a trend that many SYT girls (still in sch, poly, jc, uni) are taking on part-time photoshoots for allowance etc...and probably building a portfolio to embark on this aspiring career.

i know the old saying: dont shit where you eat...but im sure there are stories for share..esp shooting yummy SYTs infront of you.

dont flame me, im just a curious newbie here. and definitely not a pro photographer

Haha bro, i did seriously thought of learning photography as a hobby..but you know similar to MMORPG, you need to know the motivations behind the "ultimate role" to decide early... for e.g. high dam spellcaster or high hp tanker and thanks for the link!

So wondering if any bros here can share / enlighten whether the freelance modeling syts industry is indeed 'interesting'...

There's more sleaze behind the doors in this industry then you'd imagine. Even with what you think are reputable people (some even adopt japanese names and dresses smartly) would pass cards to SYT's for a private shoot. How I know? More or less I'm a familar insider.

Put it this way , hoss, the path to getting to the point where SYTs willingly pose for you on the back of your experience requires you to understand two whole shitloads of photography stuff, the intricacies which i wont go into here.....

The path is littered with many hazards and trials, like taking pics of nature and at company events etc etc....

it also requires a fair bit of money : DSLRs dont come cheap, and then thres all the lights, tripods, umbrellas and other shit....

Professional Models will definitely not provide any extras services to the photographers as part of their professionalism. At least I'm sure my model doesn't do that
