Is wechat traceable?

Hi bros
Would like to know if the chats we have with FLs in wechat traceable?.. I.e to the phone number?... Would it make a difference if I chat with them on a unregistered SIM card.

I am kind of it "stupid" and would like advise from bros...

as far as i know not traceable...there are 2 options when u login: by account username/password or by sim card number. if use the first option then it shouldn't be tied to your sim card(as long as u don't register your number to the account in the settings page).

unless they changed it....any bros feel free to correct me if i'm wrong

I am guessing likely traceable.

But is it worth tracing. Adultery, fear not. It's not a crime though morally questionable.

Wechat is traceable in a way.

Depends on how you use it.

If were to say you reveal your number upon subsequent chats and the other party happens to be your spouse then good luck to you.

Moreover fl will require your number to do booking thus pre reg sim card comes into play.

Yes possible, but vpn is in china so c how good you are.

But if your the other half use your number and find u via wechat, u also kanna if she happens to ask u if u have wechat and u say no.

On point. Tracing needs money and resources. Police would rather trace loan sharks and OKTs . Tracing a guy for visiting a FL for paid sex serves no purpose whatsoever

yes - anything is traceable. there is even an apps where you can copy the document files in wechat and you can see all the the chats and even listen to the audio. That is the power of technology.

Thats true. If a FL kena caught and proven to be below teh legal age, you can sure that they will find you. Anything that is IT related can be traced.

U can register a wechat account using a qq number which in turn can be registered using any fake email address. My take is to chat with FL using a separate account. Tell them you are not comfortable using yr mobile
