Re: Bai Hui at Balestier
Visited this place last night after seeing this thread. I decided to TOFTT (Take One for The Team). For those who haven't read my FRs, my requirements for a TN/massage session are very simple -
1) First and foremost, service must be professional, quality of massage/TN must be good, everything else is secondary. If there is 'feeling' and a connection with the masseuse and thus a desire to explore other possible 'options' then... this is to be determined towards the END of the session, towards the END of the allotted/requested time, OR upon subsequent visits as desired. 2) TN provider must at least be attractive to me, but of course looks are subjective. Without this there obviously won't be a connection. As they say, "One man's meat is another man's poison". I am sure some of you bros share a similar, if not the same approach. I just get frustrated or annoyed when... (and I'm sure this happens often) you visit a TN shop, you pick a nice girl, but her massage skills are zero to non-existant. Then 5 mins into the session she asks you what "option" you want. Before you flame me, I'll just say that I understand some cheongsters go to a TN shop for the BJ/FJ as the primary objective - that is completely your perogative and I have no problem with that. But for me its different - I want a GOOD massage as the primary objective, anything else that happens is just... a "bonus". I called first and spoke to the owner. She told me that they only offer 'decent massage', that they're not the "乱七八糟" kind of massage shop and that I should "come in and see". She told me that ALL their masseuses were quite skillful. OK, I'll give it a try. When I walked in, I was greeted by the owner, who asked if I was the one who called. She proceeded to tell me that my masseuse was cleaning up the room and would be available in about 10 mins. Offered me a cup of warm water while I waited. I initially didnt want to wait, as the location is not that discreet, its close to a bus stop and people walking past who look in would see anyone waiting in the front of the shop. I was in need of a rub, so I decided to wait. Soon after, I was greeted by my masseuse, who turned out to be a Thai (who speaks Mandarin) with a slightly fuller figure (not really my type, which is model thin) and with seemingly strong arms. She looked like she could give a good rub, so I stayed. She led me upstairs to a cubicle next to a shower room, where I took a quick shower before my session. She was 2 weeks into the job and was very green and obviously nervous. She wanted me to change in the cubicle, then don a towel and go downstairs for my shower, when there is a shower upstairs!! Was she afraid I would pee in the shower? Was there buried treasure in the shower room upstairs? Why dont you let me use the shower right next door but you want me to go downstairs wrapped in a towel to use the one downstairs?! WTF!?!? My alarm bells were beginning to ring. After my shower, she came in the room and asked how long a session I'd like. To play safe, I opted for 60 mins, after which she immediately tried to upsell me to 90 mins, saying that I'd get a free mosha - Warning sign #2 - trying to upsell me even before you start the session! At this point I was ready to put my clothes back on and walk out, and I SHOULD HAVE! After this it only got worse... She proceeded to give me the worst perfunctory rub I've ever received in a long time. Press here press there, her repertoire was probably about 3 different strokes repeated over and over again. At one point she got on top of me but she was quite obviously unsure of her movement and positioning, and even giggled at her lack of skill. Warning sign #3, and my philosophy is 3 strikes and youre out. This girl was definitely OUT. She had very little idea of what she was doing. I contemplated cutting short the time to a half hour, but around this time she proceeded to work on my head (the big one!) and she was ok at it, so ok lar, let you finish the hour and try your full massage repertoire lor... *sigh* Big mistake. She began to initiate conversation, and most of her 'conversation' was complaining about the boss and how she was so.... umm... "bossy", about how the other girls steal clients, etc. Warning sign #4. Clients like me visit a TN to de-stress and to put my worries behind, albeit for a brief moment, and here you are sharing your problems with me and complaining to me about your work?! After the flip she press here press there for about 2 mins, then told me my time was up. Big Lie! I walked into the shop at about 10:00 pm. By the time I was greeted by her and had my shower it mustve been at *least* 10:15 pm. The clock on the wall showed a little before 11:00 pm. Do I need yet another warning sign?! Promptly took my shower, got dressed, threw my money away and left. To top it all off, she even asked me when I'd come back to see her! I challenge any bros out there to top that example of utter cluelessness. Summary Name of Establishment: Bai Hui Tuina (白惠推拿) Decor/Facilities: 3.0/10 Basic. Shower room upstairs had used towels lying in the sink. Masseuse: Thai girl, speaks Mandarin and some English. Didnt get a name. Just as well, or else I'd have another name to forget! Massage: 0.5/10 Non-existant. Give her half a point for her (big) head massage. Looks: 4.0/10 OK looking and pleasant enough but this is subjective Body: 4.0/10 A few extra pounds, not much of a chest. Options: None offered NOR requested/desired, but probably available, I can't imagine ppl coming here for just the massage! Damage: $36 / 60 mins RTF: NEVER! I was so turned off by this place that even the SYT who took my payment when I left (another masseuse in the joint) will not tempt me to step foot in this joke of an establishment ever again! Owner obviously practices deceptive marketing and pressures her girls to 'maximize their time' during their peak periods - the latter was mentioned the masseuse (see above re: complaining) Cheers! PS Bros out there who have any recommendations as to what I'm looking for please PM or reply to post, I will go try and provide FR. Anyone who thinks I'm deserving pls. up my points, thanx! |

Re: Bai Hui at Balestier
Can you guys please comfirm if this Bai Hui is near the an aquarium shop? It's also near the famous chicken rice shop, right?
When I went there, there was this voluptious looking PDMM manning the counter after my initial massage with another PRC. Tempted to go for seconds if not for time constraints. Thanks. |

Bro, if you are looking for a good decent massage, then head down to Geylang Lor 31. The shop is called Sakura.. Its pretty similar to the good massage establishments in Bangkok. With mats on the floor, its an open concept, with steambath etc... Really good massage, and its about 50SGD for 1.5 hrs... Go give it a try.. |
