Would like to bring to your attention after watching the Channel U show, which featured stories of ex drug addicts. Was enlighten by this particular gentleman (ex-drug addict) on his analogy of addiction. He says that "addiction neeed not be on drugs alone, anything can! As long as it is affecting your everyday life on what u had to do. Your relationship with your love ones and etc."

Jus a tinker for all to ponder about... Has masturbation became a "addiction" which sometimes affect our relationship with gf and wife? Has constant visiting the masseus cause a change of love with our spouses and also some affecting your personal finances? I may not be there now.. but i feel one day I will be like the ex-drug addict if i were to continue this lifestyle of mine...

I am not trying to be a counsellor here or anything like that but I feel is time we sit down and think thru for a moment.. especially those bros who are married....

Well said but I do not agreed in sum. A man must know when to move forward and when to do a retreat. If you cannot control your own mind then be very careful when you indulge in such game (I always consider these events as games only and they will 1 day end to every individual I indulge in, its just a matter of time).

I smoke more than a packet of cigarrette a day but when I am home even if it takes more than 8 hours, I don't touch a single stick. This is self control and discipline.

Life is full of wonders and if you pass the part of your life, then you will never have a chance to return and you will only live the rest of your life pondering what it must be like, I don't buy this sort of life.

Marriage is a committment and bond to another party, therefore from then on, your life do have an added consideration but not to restrict oneself to other interest.

For me I will never compare my girl friends with my wife, because wife I only have ONE but girl friends I can have plenty and they are all but "Friends" only with no committment and bond to them, the rest is in your own mind towards the situation.

total agreed with what you said....spending that kind of money is enjoying but we will suffer like hell when we need it urgently..

so do advise to spend your money wisely, maybe one a blue moon kind of things to pamper ourself. but not twice a week sort.

average bill per visit with only HJ will be 35+50=80 x 2 x 4 =640 per mth...

indeed very costly.....think. before you decide.

Then again, addiction is not simply about money. You can get addicted to something that costs nothing at all. As long as it causes certain cravings and has effects (mostly negative) on your life.
