Unexpected Encounter

I’m basically a newbie to this forum. Have been browsing this forum for some time, and decided to create a user id recently. Reading through this section a lot, and decided to share this story of mine, which only happened recently (From 16th-18th January 2015). Names have been altered to protect the identity of the person. Have added more details to spice up the story.

Part 1: Checking In
In early December 2014, was supposed to head to Bangkok for a short trip. However, due to some issue, hence delayed this trip. Been looking around for friends to tag along with, but to no outcome. Early this year, decided to try out solo trip to Bangkok. Searched, booked my air tickets, hotel etc, and am ready to go.

On the day itself, took the flight I booked, and flew to Bangkok and arrived there around 11am. After immigration etc, took a cab down to the hotel I’m staying. However, due to that there’s no smoking room available (As I’m a smoker, and requested a smoking room), I had to wait for an hour or so. No choice. Headed to the nearby shopping mall for my lunch while waiting.

This particular waitress from the place I dine in, caught my attention. She was not those very pretty type, nor have a model type of figure. She’s a very friendly, and maybe caring type of person, as I saw her helped a handicapped person up to the seats etc. Best part of it is, the other person accidentally spilled the coffee or tea on her, and she did not panic and just smiled.

We chatted a bit as she recommended me some food, as I don’t know quite well about thai food. After serving the food, I started eating, and she will come over if the food is ok etc. Before leaving, and after paying, I tipped her off, but she gently rejected me that they are not allow to accept tips from customer, even I tried to ‘under table’ to pass her. She told me that I can put in the small box at the counter. Anyway, tried to ask contact from her, but she was shy to give me, and said that she will contact me instead. Hence I gave her my number, and told her that I’m staying nearby. Maybe can meet for supper or what after she knocked off. She told me she will contact me again.

After I left, I went nearby shopping, bought some stuff, before heading back to hotel to check in. Lucky that there’s room available even though I was there 15 minutes earlier than expected. Went up to my room, and after checking the condition of all the stuff in the room, went for a bath, and took a nap.

Woke up around 4pm, and after shower, headed down. Went to a nearby temple to pray, and do some shopping. Soon it was about 7pm when I received a call….

Part 2: Head Start
I saw that the number was unknown, and didn’t know whom was it from. Anyway, pick up the call.

I hang up the call. Feeling a bit sad, and lonely. Decided to walk around. Came across this massage house, and decided to head in for a massage. Opt for Thai Massage, which I think quite popular in Bangkok, and headed in after waiting for a while. Proceeded to one of the bed inside (with curtains surrounding type), and after closing the curtains, stripped myself. Noticed that there isn’t any disposable underwear, or boxer around. While searching in naked mode, the curtain beside be suddenly pulled opened. I got a shocked, and turned around. There was this lady, covering in a towel, looking at me.

She: Oh. Sorry sorry. I thought there isn’t anyone.

She: Sorry about just now.

She: You are not local I guess?
Me: I’m from Singapore. And you don’t sound local too

Me: Oh I see. Ok
She: I’m Widya. And you are?
Me: I’m Jake. Nice to meet you, Widya.
Widya: Nice to meet you too, Jake
Me: That’s your friend? (Pointing at the other girl)
Widya: Oh. She’s my elder sister
Me: Oh.

She waved to the girl, and signaled her over. The girl came over.

Widya: This is Jake, and this is my sister, Wani
Me: Hi Wani. Nice to meet you
Wani: Nice to meet you too Jake
Me: So how’s the massage just now?
Widya: It was great. How about yours?
Me: Mine was great too
Widya: That’s good
Me: So where you both heading now?
Widya: We are thinking of going for dinner. Want to join us?
Me: Sure.
Widya: Any place to suggest?
Me: Well, probably we can go opposite there (pointing towards the direction). There’s few nice restaurant over there.
Widya: Sure. Lets’ go
Me: Ok. This way ladies
Widya: Haha. Thanks

We walked towards the shopping mall nearby, and chit chatted along the way. Came to know that they both stayed nearby hotel as well, and Wani is married with 2 kids in Singapore, while Widya have a boyfriend too, but he’s in Indonesia. She came over to Singapore to visit her sister, and both came to Bangkok for a trip as Chinese New Year is nearby, and they wish to shop for some clothing as well. By the way, both are Indonesian-Chinese. Wani is more of bigger size (Maybe did not maintain well after pregnancy) which is about 165cm and 60kg, but have quite fair skin. Widya is more of petite size, with tanned skin. She is about 155cm and probably around 50kg or so.

We reached the mall, and headed to the basement where most of the restaurant is located at. After going through few rounds, we decided on one restaurant and headed in. Ordered some food, and started eating while chit chatting as well. Soon, we finished our dinner. Paid for it, and left the restaurant.

Me: So where are we going next?
Wani: Shopping of course!
Me: Sure. Let’s go then.

Me: Depending. Since we are in holiday, of course no.
Widya: That’s great. Ok. Let’s go back to our hotel.
Me: Ok

We headed out and I walked them back to their hotel lobby, and then headed back. We have arranged to meet at her hotel lobby at 10pm, and it’s about 9pm only. I headed back to hotel, put my stuff, and took a shower. Relax a while, before heading out at 9.45pm to meet them.

Part 3: Unexpected 1
I reached their hotel within 5 minutes in walking. Decided to walk around the area has never been to this particular hotel before. Short while later, got a call.

Me: Hello
Widya: Hello. This is Widya here. Are you here already?
Me: Yes. I’m at the lobby now.

Widya: Ok. I inform the front desk to scan for you. You go to front desk now, and tell them our room number will do.
Me: Sure
Widya: See you shortly
Me: See you

I hang up the phone, and proceeded to the front desk. Asked for the room number, and one of them lead me to the lift, and tabbed on the lift in order for me to go up. Once reached the floor, I headed towards the room, and pressed the doorbell.

Widya: Who’s that?
Me: Room service

The door opened slightly with the chain attached

Widya: We did not order any room service
Me: Is me
Widya: Oh. Jake. Haha. Ok. Wait a moment.
Me: Ok.

The door closed, again, and can hear the chain being removed, then it opened again.
