Thumbs up 10,000 stupid Buddhists march for "peace" but not for their CPF, HDB, rights

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Peace simi lancheow? Peace cannot find you a job when u have been displaced by a FT let in by the PAP. Peace cannot help you pay the mortgage for the overpriced flat you have. Peace cannot get your money out from CPF at 55 as originally promised. Peace cannot get your children a place in the uni of their choice, while FT students can get in on full scholarship. Its much better for these 10,000 dumb fucks to march for their own rights and the rights of their children then march for "peace". Smells like another PAP grassroot event. Either that or Buddhist are fuck stupid up there with Muslims.

SINGAPORE - More than 10,000 Buddhist devotees, holding lotus-shaped lamps, walked round Hougang Stadium yesterday while praying for the peace and health of the nation. National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan, who is Buddhist, joined the procession. The Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services organised the event ahead of Vesak Day, which falls on June 1 this year. On Vesak Day, Buddhists commemorate the birth, enlightenment and final nirvana of Buddha. - See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/news/sin....VhwfOhPF.dpuf
