Two teenagers arrested for robbing taxi driver of $25 and hurting him in Clementi
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
SINGAPORE -Police have arrested two teenagers, aged 17 and 19, for allegedly robbing a taxi driver of $25 and hurting him along Clementi Ave 1 on Thursday morning . The police said in a statement on Thursday that they received the 60-year-old driver's complaint at about 4.15 am. The two suspects, both male, had fled towards Clementi Ave 2 afterwards, the driver had said. Officers from Clementi Division then searched the area. They managed to trace and arrest one of the suspects along Clementi Ave 2 at about 6.50 am. The other suspect was arrested in his home in Clementi Ave 3 at 9.15am. All the stolen money was recovered. The suspects are expected to be charged in court on Friday with robbery with hurt under Section 394 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
