Was discussing with some brothers on this subject which had another poll on it. The problem with the other poll is that some of us, our England is not so good we thought the impartial means unfair and partial means being fair, so some have voted wrongly.

So I think to get a more accurate picture of the samster's view, that poll should be invalid and set up a new one which is clearer.

The questions will be "Is thaivisitor fair in his job as a moderator?"

I have also excluded the username in the poll as some may say that his friends and supporters are "compelled" to vote for him.

Another poll on TV, he is getting more popular because of all these.

My view on this, I'm not siding any party.... moderator is also a human being, he can be a bastard, he tends to side 1 party or do anything he deem to be right in the forum but he is given the rights by the owner. Sam owns this forum and I guess he has went thru some thinking before appointing anyone. In hokkien, we always say this, "Lan lan".

Not all will be happy with TV being the moderator, and if Sam appoints me as a moderator, some will also feel the same. Some even question why this CB Naemlo rep point so high? What did he deserve to have these points? Same as TV, what did he deserve to be moderator? Owner of the forum does not own anyone an explanation. It is either you accept it or ignore the forum.

Let me ask a question, if Sam create a new nick with moderator rights, he don't tell anyone who this guy is, but actual person using this nick is TV, with this new nick, he moderates the forum, will there will big hoo haa on this moderator??

Lets move on and enjoy ourselves in this forum, share info, talk kok and make more cheong friends.

If people in my poll has voted wrongly, can always voice out. so far only one samster says he voted wrongly.

Now the poll is secret, many of his clones will vote for him too and results can be tweaked by boss himself. That is why I make it an open poll.

Sam should have probably done this in the first place.
If that nick keeps deleting posts that flames TV, I am sure people will start making questioning that nick too. Samsters here are not that stupid, I hope.

As mentioned, a moderator is appointed by the owner whom he think he is the best person to assist him. He has the right to do anything within his limit. Knowing Sam, you should know he don't change his mind easily unless Sam notices there is an abuse of the moderator rights.

So lets move on. Dun keep on advertising for TV...

Maybe you can start another poll with the title 'Is TV a real Samster? He doesn't write FRs and does not cheong. Seems fishy to me.'

Hello Fisherman,

Maybe you could defined "Samster" leh... as for what I know, any member of SBF, is called a samster but I could be wrong as you could be the authority to decide who and who is not a "real" samster, kekekekekeke

How is it doen, care to share a bit?

Cheong - Real Samster?
Contribute in SBF Exchange - Fake Samster?
Post Stories - Fake Samster?
etc, etc, and etc.

Also, why don't you check back all your posts and calculate the pecentage of "positive" posts and then check mine, to see who has a higher percentage? Who knows, you could be higher? kekekekekekeke

Not disagree. Where got consensus 1, for appt of moderator? In 1st place, we are not even in a position to choose. TV's probably more a controversial choice, given his detractors who have an axe to grind with him (for some reason or other).

Ironically, even the negative threads with polls add to publicity for TV. Probably, kena reverse intended effect..

Good publicity is a form of advertisement. Bad publicity is also a form of advertisement. And too much of bad publicity is also no good. Sometimes it might be true, sometimes it might be not, however even if it is not true, say a few more times also look and sound real liao.

Thats why best is not to have bad publicity.
