Pinky and his MFA/SID advisors seem to be living in a world of fantasy. They just cannot comprehend that the South China Sea issue is viewed as a CORE INTEREST by China and is NON-NEGOTIABLE, no matter how one interprets International Law.

They still believe that China could be reasoned with and brought to the negotiation table. They believe that if ASEAN remained united, it could meet China head on as equals. They believe that the US would provide the cover for ASEAN's interest. These experts are actually leading Pinky towards a dead end.......

China will NEVER bulge from its stand - that the South China Sea islands are Sovereign Chinese Territory and they will resort to armed action if anyone tries to test their determination.

China and USSR clashed in 1969 over their border....
