Used to go Genting & cruise ships until discovered Batam casinos... cheaper, more convenient and more relaxed with other cheap entertainment besides gambling... like massages, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, discos, food ( seafood and kampong chicken???) and of cos, cheweks!!!

Sentosa casino??? Have to wait for some time i.e. if the govt. decides to go ahead, which IMHO is most likely.

Given a choice, no-brainer... Batam wins hands down. Batam out of the race... stay at home and visit GL Chinatown for some fun lah!!!

Ha! You think he cares? Frankly speaking, Batam has a lot of pulau kia(nearby islands people) chinese who come to batam to make a living and buy up the houses here also. That is why batam has a lot of chinese. After 1998 riots, many chinese from medan come over here too.

Huan nahs here make a living off the chinese here. Of course, they work and send $$$ back. Casinos is mainly for overseas and almost all the workers are chinese wat. No muslims allowed, so the affected ones are mainly chinese.

But Kalla also too short sighted. If there are more tourist, it benefits all, not only chinese, just that he too narrow hearted. He may be a businessman, but not a good politican.

Just waiting for his time. Not too sure SBY can last how long. But I rather have SBY than Kalla anytime.

Some info here for BOLA fan, BOLA was opened last nite in some of the KTVs, but just for few sessions/hours. Heard that it could be opened/business as usual tonite.
