Any ghost stories to share?

Here's the one that i mentioned nearby The Cathay.

few years ago, was watching midnight show with my friends. Due to limited parking lot at The Cathay, i parked my car at PS instead. Then walk over to The Cathay for the movie.

After I finished the movie, it was around 1.30am and I still have to walk back to PS to get the car. This is not the first time we parked at PS and walk over for movie so its just like any other time.

While walking along the road, we start talking about ghost encounter and naturally i shared my encounters with them. And then we mentioned the seemly abandoned house just behind macdonald house.

We were joking about how old it is and if the house is occupied. That is when i look over and i saw a man in his fifties standing there. So i just jokingly tell my friends, its occupied. there is someone living there. Look at the uncle standing outside the door. Immediately my friends turned their head and they all frozen in their steps. They asked me did i really see someone standing there. i told them yea. and by the look on their face, i know the uncle i saw is our "friend". so i just tell them to keep moving and avoid looking at that house.

More encounters to come. next time i will tell you guys one at Temasek Poly when i was there studying.

Wonder you guys have such experience about your own HDB lifts. I am living in the west on the 8th storey and the lift is diagonally infront of my unit. I experienced a couple of times (one time this morning too) especially in the morning (6am+) which I opened the door and about to leave the house, the lift was at my storey level, after locking the door and walking towards the lift, the lift door just opened by itself without me even reaching for the button. Freak, I was thinking that 'someone' has pressed on my behalf as these lifts do not have sensor. Somehow I didn't feel comfortable inside as I was the only one, so I recite mantra to ease the feel......

Yea. Always experience this. Especially at my house hdb lift. But I thinkit should be coincidence. Since what I experience is mostly, when I approach the lift, the door will open and when I step in, the door will close by itself before I press the floor. But being as I am, I will just say "thank you" in case is real good friend pressing.

bro, I do encounter such experience before. I oso stayed in hdb flat, sometime when approach lift, the door automatically open. but it not happen every time, only sometime. I thought is sensor too, but weird, if sensor, it should happen every time. I did not thought more, just enter the lift and go to my floor.

wonder any bro got tis kind of "special" feeling when walking at night (after 12am) along some path where the light is not bright. some time at night couldn't sleep n feel hungry, I would go down stair to a coffee shop (24 hours) to buy something to eat. The shop is not next to my block, need to walk about 5 min. sometime when walking toward the shop, as the lamp light is not so bright.. sometime got some kind of uneasy feeling. I did not (and also wish will not) see those things, just suddenly feeling uneasy. wad I do is to start recite some scripture in my mind to "calm" down that uneasy feeling.

I am sure brothers here have heard this story in one form of or another in the last 25 yrs or so since it first started circulating among ghost story tellers. It's the classic taxi picking up woman along PIE near the old Police Academy story. Anyone recall the first version of this story?

My HK story..

Was walking back with my CO to her home and the path is very dark. There was a guy that cycled past us and went round the bend. We reached the bend shortly and......

..... we couldn't see him!! The area is an open area, no place to hide.

I didn't sense anything wrong when the guy went past. I'm still puzzled where he could have gone to

Hi bros and sis,

I'll like to share a ghost story from army camp .... Pardon my English hor ....
It took place at a camp near to a cemetery ...

As we were an ops unit .... We had to stay in.
It was the seventh month when this incident took place.

We were housed in a bunk at the corner of the whole floor (which is laterally inverted L in shape).

This bunk of ours is popular with the rest of the bunks on the same floor .... Because there is a tv, tonnes of magazines, Maggie mee cooking utensils, tidbits, u name it la .....

On this fateful night ...... We had off the lights to watch TV .... Around 9 of us were in the bunk ...... It was merry time .... To say the least ...... Til when it was very close to 2359hrs ... We heard someone knocking his metal mug (NS guys will know which mug I'm toking about) with a spoon/fork ...... It was hell of a din. This went on for abnormally long seconds .... I mean if it's for a couple of seconds ..... We all do that ..... However, it went on for definitely more than 10sec .....

Frustrated .... The one who had sat near the door opened it in the hope of nailing the noisy bugger ..... Unfortunately, the din went off as soon as the door was opened ......

We were a bit surprised .... Anyway, TV was more impt .... We bochup the source of the din and continued our tv marathon ......

In less than couple of minutes, the din returned ..... This time round, we can see the silhouette against the frosted glass window ..... It was clearly marked out ..... With the metal tin and metal spoon/fork silhouette being very obvious too ....

And again, the one nearest the door opened the door ready to fxxx the din bugger ...... At the same time the door was swung opened, the silhouette seem to vanish into thin air at inexplicable speed ..... We were all really taken aback ..... Though we had numbers on hand ..... We really froze in fear ...... Til this day, we still cannot fathom wat created those din ...... But we know for sure .... A temple medium had came by to that corner spot to bless that area years back coz of some dirty stuff ........

Seletar Camp famous for being dirty, especially Boat Coy Area...
