Ever since we broke, Danine had been msging me almost everynight with "how r u", "I miss u", "I really love u", "will u forgive me", " can we meet to talk"... I chose to ignore her msges... Can't blame me, i was still in shock... afterall I'm heading into unfamiliar territory here... This is the first time i've been involved with a married woman... come to think about it, everything seemed to make sense to me now... Her staying together with her "bf"... her bf was named "laogong" in her hp... the funny "what if" questions that she liked to ask...
I'm super confused... Maybe I really liked her so much that I get so upset about the revelation... but seriously, wtf have I gotten myself into here... Will her hubby come after me with a chopper like in the tv shows? Will any good stem out of this relationship? I didn't want to fight a hopeless battle... Bearing all factors into strong consideration, the best idea I thought was to retreat. Another month or so passed... I've stuck to my game plan, ignoring Danine's calls and msges... totally eliminating any contact with her. It was a Friday night around 2am... This time, I received a call from Sharon instead... Sharon: hey u still not sleeping? Me: thanks... (Yawn...) how nice of you to ask... Sharon: come down to xxx xxxx club? Me: I was kinda like sleeping when you called Sharon... Next time ok... hv fun... Sharon: Ok seriously... I need u to come down... Danine is drunk... Me: ok interesting... U gals hv fun... Sharon: c'mon la... I know about u guys ardy la... Pls come? Me: (keeping quiet) Sharon: She really needs you right now ok... Never seen her so drunk before... She keep saying that you don't want her anymore, you don't want her anymore... I'm worried about her... Somewhere during the past month, Danine couldn't keep it inside her anymore and confided in Sharon about our relationship. According to Sharon, Danine didn't think that she would fall in love with me so deeply... She had initially thought that we would have our good times while it all lasted and move on with our lives when it ended... But as time passed, Danine felt that she had to stop living a lie, to be fair to me and tell me the truth... She couldn't bear hurting me anymore. Me: did u tell her about our Bali trip stuff as well... Sharon: ofcos not la... you think i xiao ah?! Tell her such things... Come down now ok... Wait for you (To be continued)
