Has any Bro send money to GF in HCM before.....

Which would you recommend>>> Western Union, MoneyGram or is there another remitting house that is being used......

How long does it take for receiver to get monies and how much does it cost.... ?

i used WU 1 or 2 years ago, fees were really high..not sure about now

MoneyGram costs only 10$ but they rip us off the exchange rate

last time i checked for every 10k i lost 300 for the exchange rate..

it only takes about 10 mins for the receiver to get monies.

so i think if the amount is not big, MoneyGram or ATM card withdrawal is not so bad

otherwise just go to VN and get a good deal for currency conversion :P

I used Western Union. Ard 15 mins. Remintance cost ranges from $20 to $50.

Go to Little India and talk to the money changers. They have fast and cheap service. Very reliable and instant.

Go lor 42 kopi shop there is some one can send money back! charges not sure but now you send at the same day they will received it.

Maybe just go ask some of the con gaiss they sure know!

Hi asiancigar, I usually send by Western Union, quite fast and can get money within 10 minutes. Can send up to S$20,000 per transaction per day per sender. Just give your ID and the person name. They will put the surname at the back including your name. Will give you a 10 digit pin number.

All you need is to sms your friend with your name (asiancigar = cigar Asian), the friend name (surname at the back, eg: Nguyen Ngoc Tuan = Ngoc Tuan NGUYEN) and 10 digit pin number. The other side can go to any western union branch to withdraw with the 3 information given. They will ask you why you want to send money, you can say:- to family or down payment for purchasing something.

There was mentioned of BOSS Hotel.

It is located on 5 Ly Tu Trong. D1

Hotel is new and havent printed their own name cards yet. Asked the manager for phone number, said cant remember.

Price is
USD$25 Single Bed
USD$35 Double Bed

The manager said that a simple free breakfast is only provided. Coffee & light snacks only. This will only be given if it is a small group of maximum 2 people. Went up to see the rooms. small size with low ceiling.

They have a sister property.
