I'm currently in Jakarta and will be here for another 10 days. In this time, I've been around a few clubs and massage places. Here are the recent FRs and price feedback:

Travel Hotel
This is one of my favorite places, though the mommy's are a bit pushy (just like Classic Hotel). Lots of SYTs here. They open at noon, but noon won't be as exciting because most girls aren't at work yet. Around 3PM, there are usually around 20-30 and around 7PM, there were easily 50+. Again, many SYTs. Short time (1 shot) is IDR 325,000 with the girls expecting a IDR 100,000 tip. You'll need to pay in advance, so I'll usually give the IDR 350,000 and when she comes back with the change, I'll tell her to keep it. Total cost ~IDR 450,000 which is equivalent to ~$40 USD at an exchange rate of 11,290 IDR/$1 that I got on 9/14/2013. You can also do doubles at IDR 460,000 but I'd imagine you'd be tipping IDR 100,000 to each gal after the deed. 1 girl is 1 hour and doubles, you have 1.5 hours. Pretty good deal IMO.
There's also massage here for IDR 225,000/90 minutes. Almost all the massage girls will offer you extra services (Batin/FJ/BJ) but the prices will be the same or more than the FJ girls you see coming in. I usually just tell them no thanks and after massage, go pick another SYT for 450k all inclusive. (there was one time where I met this really hot massage girl and FJ cost me 350k after some negotiation).

Classic Hotel
Terminal 2 and Terminal 5 (either 2nd floor or 5th floor). They're both the relatively the same in my opinion. 2 opens around 2:30PM and 5 opens at 5PM. It doesn't get busy till around 7-8PM. Cost is IDR 315,000, paid in advance. Arrangements same as Travel Hotel (they're owned by same group).

Food and drinks at Classic and Travel: Be aware that when you offer your mm a drink, she may not only get a drink, but also a pack of cigarettes. Each time, it seems to cost me between IDR 50,000 and IDR 70,000. Damn if you do and damned if you don't. The bill will also charge you IDR 10,000 for a durex condom FYI.

MALIOBORO
Went there with a few new Indo friends and the place was hopping. Got a table for the 4 of us and total drinks cost came to IDR 1.4M, split 4 ways. Girls will dance on first floor and they're topless and also bottomless. Some are real stunners. After dancing, they'll make the rounds around the club trying to get you to buy them lady drinks at IDR 50,000 a pop. I heard 20 lady drinks (~IDR 1.0M) will get you a blowjob. Haven't tried this just because I can get 3 FJs at Classic/Travel for the price of a BJ here. Short time was quoted to me at IDR 2.5M. There are house girls available for short time downstairs at IDR 600,000 and imports at IDR 2.0M to IDR 2.5M. Saw a few China meimeis here but honestly, if you want mms from China, just go to CP China (see my reviews there). Didn't see many freelance here... though I'm sure they're around.

CLUB 36
Similar to Malioboro but smaller. To me, Malio seems more upscale. To get a table here, minimum spending is IDR 1.2M and booth is IDR 2.5M. You can make this minimum spending by inviting girls to your table. However, these girl costs are not the FJ costs. Sat down with a few buddies at a table and after 2 girls and some drinks, left. Did not find any freelance here and the dancers at my table weren't receptive to going out...?!?! Anyway, win some lose some.

CROWN
Large club with some free lance, however, didn't see any I was particularly interested in. Didn't pay an admission price and was just there to check out the FLs. I did see a dancer from Club 36 here around 5:30AM by herself. My Indo friends tell me she's freelance. Haha. Too bad I'm not too interested. Was told freelance here is around IDR 1.0M, though can negotiate to 800k or less.

Transportation:
Metered transport from Manga Dua to Classic/Travel/Sun City was all under IDR 20,000. Though I just give IDR 30,000 for appearance sake. (Come on, an extra dollar right?) Late night, you'll be hustled for IDR 50,000 from Travel Hotel to your hotel but can negotiate to IDR 30,000 once you pretend to walk away.

Maybe a recent visitor can clarify the Alexis Charge. Earlier in the year I was charged IDR 1.6 Million for Local Indo, including spa fees and 1 beer. A Viet import was abt 2.2 Mill if I can remember.

Another fairly recent post stated there locals to be had for 800,000 IDR, but I was never quoted something that cheap. Can anybody clarify current prices?

This is the norm for import girls. Depending on the establishment, it can vary around 2-2.5m. And, that's short time. With that price, you can get a 3/7/12 China meimei long time in CP ^^!

Based on the info from this thread, I went with trying out Travel Hotel for a ST SYT - having not been here in donkey years, I guess I went with what most bros recommend.

Here's my take on it.

The GOOD:
- Recognisable format: you sit at high stool in a large, dark dancefloor with loud music, pushy mama-sans, nurse a beer, and get given your pick of women
- Good looking SYTs: should be able to get your pick by the 2nd or 3rd gal if you're not too choosey
- Quite value for money: For what you pay here, it's a steal compared with chionging FLs in Singapore
- Clean rooms with working shower - a surprise for me I guess, having gone in expecting a H81 standard (and pleasantly surprised)

The BAD (well, not THAT bad lah):
- Zero GFE unless you know some Bahasa - I still haven't quite honed my body language and pidgin English to get around to jio-jioing non-English speaking local gals yet... hence, really hard to build chemistry here
- The inability to be discreet: Well, you do see patrons as you walk the hallways to your room
- The clientele... well... what can I say? You do bump into some rather unsavoury looking types here Not saying any of you bros lah, but it is quite a broad range of types

Overall, not a bad place for a first-timer in JKT.

You should try classic. Nude dancing during late nights/early mornings. More girls than Travel and on 2 different levels, terminal 2 (2nd floor) and terminal 5 (5th floor).
