Nobody's asking anyone to avoid Bugis. But can't blame people for wanting to avoid the place either...If AIDS can be gotten from eating certain food, I bet everyoné's gonna avoid the food either. To each of his own. People want to avoid, that's people's business. Why bother to make things clear when we all know that once we bonk, whether with cap or not, we're exposed to all kinds of STDs? To make this experiment more "scientific" we need a lot more people and do double blind studies - one group goes down to Bugis, another group does not go down, yet another group goes somewhere else but they are made to believe that they are going down to Bugis (to test placebo effect), etc.
The scientists studying these people must also be "blind" - they must not know who is in which group, just test blood for Aids, etc.
