1) acid marks - it is used to erased off the print machine labels on the inner ring (so MPAA donno lor). Sometimes jokers will 'accidently' drip a drop on the clear surface thus damaging the scanner on the deck due to repeated run on the same thread. 2)sticky glue - is from the plastic sleeve. The glue tape can sometime rubbed on the clear surface which does the most damage on the scanner. Any glue get gel on the head and its bye bye deck. 3)bad scratches - Scratches on its own is okay so long as its not like cut scratch. As for printing. Hmmm fyi. The printed (lable) side is the side that contains the video data. Thus, some stupid printers will bang it real hard on the disc thus in creates an 'bump' on the written surface. Ergo bad unreadable tracks. So check if the 'bump' is strong on the clear side. If it is... throw it away. Quote:
