Well walked Yuna home. She still had some errants to run but I mentioned if it was ok if I waited at her home for Kasumi who was due to be home soon. Yuna nodded and left the house in my care.

Sat myself on the sofa and almost dozed off until Kasumi's unlocking of the door woke me up.

Kasumi : "Professor OP, what are you dong here ?"

OP : "well I'm waiting for you actually."

Kasumi shot back a lovely smile....

Kasumi : "Let's talk in my room okay?"

In Kasumi's room, she jumped on the bed like some excited teenager. Lying down on her soft bed, Kasumi looked at me with her dreamy eyes while I sat on a nearby stool.

Kasumi : "Sooo... Professor what can I do for you ?"

OP : "Well it's about Yu... I mean ... Mrs O.. your mother."

And so I told her everything that Yuna told me during lunch today. Kasumi listened with interest. After finishing what Yuna told me, I looked for a reaction on Kasumi.

She just shrugged her shoulders and said...

Kasumi : "It's not like I hate her or anything. Just not much to say to her. To me, she's just my father's wife thats all..."

OP : "Well, maybe you could take her as your friend?"

Kasumi : "Maybe..."

Kasumi motioned me to sit on the bed. She inched closer to me and whispered.

Kasumi : "Well, I'm more interested to be friends with you, Professor."

I almost "choked" on my salvia...

I was out of Kasumi room in lightning quick time. Kasumi asked what was the hurry but I made some lame excuse about having to feed my neighbour's cat.

As I left the house. I recieved a text message on my hp. It was from Kasumi.

Kasumi's sms - Prof OP, I mean what I said. I hope we can be friends and I really admire you a lot. Your're so manly and worldy wise.

Shit !! Young gals nowadays sure are bold, first was maya and now Kasumi too !! Then another beep on my hp signal another message waiting for me. This was how it read.

Really thank you for the listening ear. I enjoyed your company a lot. In many ways you remind me of my husband - Yours Yuna.

I think the SHIT is about to hit the fan soon !!!!!

Class was as usual today which was good as my thoughts were still pre-occupied by what happened yesterday. My friend Simon from the Ad Industry came looking for me for lunch. The day I dreaded came earlier than I expected. Was relaxing at home when my mobile beeped. Two text messages.

"OP-san, are you free now ? I just had a bust-up with Kasumi and she left home without a word. I am feeling down now. Want to come to my house for a drink. - Yuna"

"Prof OP, dun you think my step-mother is over-bearing at times ? Just had a tiff and I have nowhere to go. Can I come over to your place ? - Kasumi"
